morning sickness

does anyone else’s morning sickness feel like this - i feel like im nauseous and hungry at the same time. sometimes the nausea is so strong it feels like my stomach is on fire (feels like hunger) 🤢

I didn't feel nauseated, just ate. . and whenever I was at the lavatory, I puked.

Baby’s weight before delivery

Hi! For those who gave birth at KKH (subsidised), were there any other scans scheduled after the growth scan (and before delivery) that would let you know baby’s weight? I did the growth scan at 28 weeks and baby’s weight was 1.24kg. Doctor said that it’s a good weight and growth is on track. Just wondering if there would be any more of such scans before EDD.

Oh.. I tot 28 weeks is OGTT. Usually another scan is at 32 weeks

Is this positive?

Is this considered a +? I’ve been having bright-red spotting for 2 days, but it only lasts for a few hours each time. I’m already 4 days late. Has anyone experienced something similar?

When it happened to me, the spotting only lasted a couple of hours each day, which just confused me even more. I finally went in to get checked just to be safe, and everything turned out fine—it was just a random hormonal blip. If it keeps playing on your mind, it might help to chat with someone. I usually go to Dr Chris Ng at GynaeMD, and he's always super reassuring and puts you right at ease.

For me, the most unexpected emotional wave during the wait was the sudden, heavy grief that hit me out of nowhere while just making a cup of tea, completely catching me off guard. The best advice I wish I had is to simply let those feelings come without judging yourself for not staying relentlessly cheerful. Having such a grounding doctor like Dr Regina really helped too—she always reminded me to just be gentle with myself when the wait felt too much.

Husband and I tried for a baby last month. And a few days ago, had brown spotting and it stopped. Today in the morning, took a test and it was positive. But why do I have this feeling of uncertainty? Is it normal? First time seeing a positive!

Congrats! It's normal to feel uncertain, I think the news has not sunk in yet haha. Just continue to take your folic acid and book your 1st prenatal check! It will feel more real when u hear your baby's heartbeat 💓

29 weeks, feels like baby is trying his best to stretch my tummy bigger

I feel so stretched, people think I am about to give birth although I am only 29 weeks along. At the way baby is stretching and kicking, I feel like he might be claustrophobic inside. Anyone else having an uber active baby like mine? #1stimemom #firstbaby #pregnancy

I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant, any fruits to recommend ? What are the best fruits to eat during pregnancy ? And is it safe to take Watermelon & or Rockmelon ?:)

I ate cherries, apples, blueberry, and pasteurised fruit juice, am currently 15 weeks pregnant too
