Are there any benefits eating bird nest during pregnancy?

Been seeing some ladies consume bird nest during pregnancy. I wondered if there are any benefits to do so? Or is it just a gimmick.

my mom said she took bird's nest weekly when she was preg w my brother, aft hearing that it gives baby good skin. my brother has eczema.

Prenatal Exercise Class

Entering into 2nd trimester and thinking of looking for a prenatal exercise instructor or class. Does anyone have a recommendation?

If you have been active and is a fit mum try balletbody or WeBarre. They have pre natal classes and works a lot on core which is good for back. I’m cheapo so I subscribe to alo moves app and workout from home. They have exercise like Pilates, yoga catering to Pre natal down to the various trimesters.

EDD in March 2022, will you take the vaccine?

I’ve been contemplating. Gynae encourages but honestly your child will be your liability if anything happens. There are days I want to just take and protect myself from Covid but there are days when I’m worried about the developmental issues that may happen as a result of my decision. If your EDD is in March 2022, will you take? #advicepls

Already took my first jab yesterday. March EDD. Go take it. If you realize and watch the news, the government is not gonna take ANY action against further spike of Covid including unlinked transmissions. And if you do research you will realize the vaccinate also protects your unborn baby. All the best to you if you are not vaccinated.

Will gastric and stomach ache affect healthy growth of baby ?

I’m 11 weeks now but constantly having gastric, air, stomach ache issues. Very worried. Will this affect the growth and development of my baby? What are some remedies you have for gastric. I’m lactose interest due to pregnancy now . #pleasehelp

Maybe can try having some probiotics for your tummy problems. It won’t affect the baby but do eat more often so that your baby can get nutrients too!

Anyone developed lactose intolerance during first trimester?

Started noticing that I react very badly when I consume dairy products in my 9wk. I think I developed lactose intolerance due to my pregnancy. Anyone else had the same experience?

My gynae actually told me not to take dairy products actually. After i got GD, i took back low fat milk for a period of time then was ok..
