Hi mums, anyone have been seen by dr benjamin tham at TMC, how is he? Is he good at assisting natural delivery? I have signed package with him, however, everytime when we consult him, it only takes 3-5mins, and all of our questions are answered briefly... worry about the delivery arrangement… Thanks a lot 🙏🙏🙏

Baby’s head circumference is small at week 28 growth scan

I went for a growth scan at week 28 as I was found out to be of high risk preeclampsia at my 2nd trimester detailed scan. During that growth scan, my baby’s head circumference was smaller than his gestational age. At week 31 + 3 days, did another scan and baby’s HC is at week 30. My gynae suggested another growth scan at week 33 and to check brain’s structure but all the detailed scan before this showed no abnormalities to the brain structure. Should I be worried? Can the brain structure change at such a late stage of pregnancy? Thanks!

What should the baby's weight be at week 24?

Gynae say baby's growth is ok.. week 24 at 600g. But keep asking me to eat more. I only managed to put on 1.3 to 1.5kg each month. Doc say aim to put on 2 kg a mth. I just eat normally..

2kg a month means you will gain 18kg by the end which is way too much! My gynae never ask to gain that much. I wouldn't listen to him/her and just eat normally as much as you're comfortable with. Gaining a lot of weight doesn't mean healthier baby.

Is my baby too small?

At 28 weeks, my baby was 1.1kg. At 31 weeks 6 days (almost 32 weeks), my baby is 1.39kg (not even 1.4kg). My gynae says he is a healthy size because he is putting on weight, but i read online that ur baby should be 1.7kg at 32 weeks. Any idea if mine is too small? If so, how can i make my baby gain more weight?

requesting for ultrasound

im going in for my hospital apptment on my 16th week but realised there won’t be a scan but just a routine check. can i request for an ultrasound on the day itself? i want to see if baby is really growing…

Any where in SG to do 4D scan ala carte at cheaper pricing? My gynea is linked to Thomson Imaging and its cost $400 plus for a scan and report. I dont need the report coz i ardy did a detail scan. I just want to have 4D pictures of my baby. Any place to suggest?

Chewable calcium?

Hi all, anyone taking OLLY PRENATAL? The component is similar to what my gynae prescribed me (but i couldnt swallow the pills, i wasted like 5 pills already LOL) However, this one doesnt have calcium component. Any of you know chewable calcium that is safe for pregnancy?

What wet wipes do you use to clean your genitals during pregnancy?

As I am using progestrone inserts and could be messy is there any wet wipes you all recommend to use? I am 6 wks preg.

Normal tissue paper is fine. But in my case, i usually do not wipe it (typically no mess for me) as i want to leave it for it to absorb the residue. If there is a lot of mess, you might have too much wastage though. Try to squeeze as much as you can inside your v.
