Accidentally pee a few drops when cough and sneeze omg and I am only my 2nd tri???????? Anyway to improve it or it’s nature call? 😂😂

HL after a miscarriage

Hi ladies who have been through pregnancy loss previously…wondering how long HL did u ask/ was given? I told my gynae I will be doing a 2 weeks mini confinement and asked for 2 weeks HL. She only issued me 5 days and said subsequent days will be under MC. That’s her usual practice apparently…but seriously, only 5 days HL for miscarriage, does it make sense?? This is my 2nd pregnancy loss within 5 months and she knows about it. I am sure she is also aware of my emotional state as well, as I cried a few times during consultation. I just don’t get it why a private gynae would refuse to extend HL for patients😔 it makes me feel that she has no empathy and personal touch for her patients

I was not given like any days MC when i had miscarriage. Was only given MC when i went back for check up thats it.

Turner Syndrome

Hi mommies, I'm 16w rn, just had my amnio test and my bb is positive for turners syndrome. Is there any mommies who been thru pregnancy/children with turners? I haven't personally gone through this, but I can imagine how overwhelming it must feel to get this news at 16 weeks, especially as a first-time mum. Since there aren't many people in this thread who have shared their experience yet, it would really be worth asking your gynae or a genetic counsellor to refer you to a specialist who can walk you through what to expect, so you have proper guidance from someone who knows your case. Different children with Turner Syndrome can have very different journeys, so getting that one-on-one conversation with a doctor will give you a much clearer picture than general information online. You're not alone in this, and reaching out here is already a good step.

Is ur boss understanding or accommodating?

Hi, i am wondering if your boss is understanding and accommodating with regards to you being pregnant. I can't help but feel that the workforce here is nt exactly supportive to us mummies/pregnant mummies. Its my 2nd time pregnant and this time I'm in a different company. Both times, i feel the bosses are not that understanding. After annoucing I'm pregnant, im still being micro managed, given tons of work with tight deadlines. Im not asking for no work but with the not feeling well on n off, mc for check up, i really can't finish the tasks in such a tight time and i am trying to avoid working OT. Im not sure how to let my boss understand without making my performance looks bad. Sometimes i also wonder, Govt wants us to give birth but it's just so hard. Do they know how hard it is and have they provided enough info, educate or help employers so they can prehaps treat pregnant mummies with more understanding? Curious to know if your bosses are like that too.

I feel the same. Local workforce here is not supportive to us mummies. Had a previous superior who only wants to hire guys or single ladies cos he doesn't want our work to be impacted cos of the maternity leave. I also felt offended by my current boss' response when I told him I'm pregnant.

31 weeks now and feeling the bump

Im coming to 31 weeks, starting to feel the bump getting so much heavier and the bump feels so hard. The boundaries of the bump gets so hard it feels painful. Anyone encounter this?

He is a short and sweet person. Super chillax~ Consultation is fast within 3mins. Prepare questions for him beforehand if you have any, he will answer them all. If not he will just check the baby and see u next appointment. A very skillful doctor.

Weight dropping with no morning sickness

Currently 6weeks Weight has been dropping slightly over the week. No morning sickness though. Is it normal?

Our weight don’t really matters as long as baby is growing well inside. :)

Gynae recommendation - Dr Freda Khoo vs Dr Adrian Woodworth

Hi, this is my first pregnancy. Wondering if anyone has any experiences with the Drs above and which one would you recommend? #pleasehelp

I am with dr adrian now, his consultation is very fast but he would let you to ask questions. His prenatal package also much more affordable. Dr Freda doesnt have prenatal package, also from what i understand her fee is on the higher side but she will give tlc treatment unlike dr adrian :)
