Anyone used a doula before?

Hi ladies, anyone used a doula and can share the experience? I’m a single mum and thought a doula might be helpful in providing some massages etc during labour. #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

Pain only on left side

Backpain on left side for weeks already. Did yoga and swimming but it still sore, any mummies know why? It is on left lower back

Im also having the same issue bt on the right. I did ask gynae abt it and she say most probably its just muscle. As baby is growing

Buying baby stuff @ 6 months

Hi mommies, i will be going johor this weekends, and will be buying baby stuff over @ their baby fair. But im only 6 months. Is it too early to buy most baby stuff? Like stroller/car seat, clothes, bottles, detergent etc? Since the price is cheaper there and i dont think ill be going to JB again anytime soon 😅 I usually read people buy their baby stuff only during 3rd trim but im scared by then i wont have the energy but at the same time scared im buying things too early😅😅 #firsttimemom

No weight gain during pregnancy

Im currently 23 weeks, and i find it difficult to gain weight and so far no weight gain during my pregnancy. A little worried. From 20w detailed scan doc say baby size is great and within average. Any mummies facing the same issue? Or faced the same issue and delivered a healthy baby? #FTM

as long baby is gaining weight and size is gd, dun need to worry abt yourself not gaining weight.

Ordered fish soup and didn’t know they put a lot of of hua diao wine in cooking the soup. Finished the whole bowl by myself. What should I do? Will it harm the baby? I’m in the first trimester and super stress about it.

it's ok. I drink wine and beer because didnt know was pregnant until end of first TM 😅 baby is fine!

Hai bun, I totally understand how scary it feels seeing something like that at 12 weeks, I remember with my second pregnancy I also panicked over some discharge and rushed to call my gynae straight away! From what I have heard from other mums around me, keputihan (discharge) during pregnancy is actually quite common and usually normal, especially if it looks clear or whitish and has no strong smell, no itching, and no pain. The concern is more when the discharge looks like cottage cheese texture, smells unusual, or comes with itching, that could point to an infection that needs treatment. As for flek (spotting), a small amount of brownish spotting can sometimes be okay, but if it turns bright red, becomes heavier, or comes with cramping, that is when you really want to get checked without delay. Do keep a close eye on the colour, amount, and whether any other symptoms come along with it, those details will really help your doctor figure out what is going on. Please do check in with your own gynae or specialist, bun, because every pregnancy is different and they can give you the most accurate advice for your situation, you've got this!

Wk up with headache and sore & stiff body

Hi mummies, I am currently 28w ++ Suddenly woke up with headache and stiff body. Any mummies experience the same? Also notice my bb not as active this morning but i can still her movement - maybe it can sense the mum not feeling well?

Can pregnant mummy play mahjong ? Week 24 now, not sure if its too loud or any other tradition..

i play mahjong every week 😂😂😂 my cousin used to also, no issue for her 3 kids! baby may even get used to the noise after birth (not so easily awaken)

Passed Glucose test but urine test always had traces of glucose :(

Hii mummies, I'm in my wk 28 now and have passed my Glucose test previously. Within healthy range for all 3 tests however I am still having traces of Glucose +1/+2 everytime I do my urine test before meeting gynae. Anyone faces this too?? :(( #advicepls #firsttimemom

what do you usually eat/drink before meeting gynae? you may want to watch what you consume before the appt.
