Sleep pattern affects unborn baby?

I always cant sleep at night but can sleep in the day. Will my baby have the same pattern next time?

No. I used to sleep in the day and awake at night too. My baby sleeps during normal hours ~

Sterilise breast pump to bring to hospital

I know hospitals highly encourage latching. But im planning to just bring 1 manual & 1 wearable breastpump to hospital, in case. For this case, do i wash it and sterilise and keep it in ziplock? Then put in hospital bag? IF i need to use in hospital, do i need to sterilize again or will nurse help to sterilize it ? #FTM

I wash and sterilise then keep in ziplock. During my hospital stay, I’ll pass my pumps to the nurses. They will wash and sterilise then pass it back to me (I’m at TMC so idk how the other hospital works). However when getting back, please do check that all parts (especially valve since it’s small) are returned to you else you’ll have to make a trip down again like me😭.

Abdominal & lower back pain @ 3rd trim

Im currently in my 3rd trimester, 30 weeks, and im starting to get random mild period-like cramps & lower back/hip pain. Not intense but mild - moderate. And doesnt last that long, it just comes at random timings and doesnt really affect my normal routine. Is this normal? Anything i should be worried about ? Just scared its an early sign of labour #FTM

That might be braxton hicks. Too early to have labour or mild contractions. As long as it is not intense it should be okay. However, if you feel worried, you may get it check and question on your next appointment.

Sometimes I wish human gestational period don't have to be 9 months...

Why can't normal pregnancy period be shorter? DX I feel like I've been pregnant forever, but its only 6 months... still got 3 months... I dont want my baby to be premie (I want it to be full term) but I wish I could deliver soon... sigh...

Weight gain at 25 weeks

Hi mummies, I am currently 25 weeks pregnant. Started my weight at 72kg and have gained 3kg. My gynae told me that I am gaining too much weight because of my BMI. Would appreciate any suggestions for healthy snacks, food to slow down weight gain?

Spotting/bleeding

What does this mean ? I’m currently 6 weeks, started having spotting 1 day before my first check up. Then during scan, only can see gestational sac but not yolk sac , not sure isit still too early or what. But during evening I started to spot again. Then during midnight it bleed, on off on off . Anyone experience this ? Is it normal ?

Spotting/bleeding

If any bleeding, please go hospital or clinic straight away. Dont wait for the next day

Obimin - multi vitamins

Hi mummies, seeking yr tghts on my concerns. Im on my 14th weeks and its has been close to 2weeks that ive choose to not take obimin. Typically bcoz i felt that every time i take tbe obimin, im experiencing with nausea, fatigue, morning sickness and its kind of bothering me. Ive highlighted to a gynae before and was adv to take it only at night to feel lesser side effects. Bt it proves me wrong coz the side effects kicks in d nxt morning. I am partially guilty for nt taking it coz im on a high risk pregnancy bt taking it is taking a big toll of me. I feel so down and tired. Nt taking it, im eating prettt well, up & about doing daily routines etc. Is there anyone who choose to not take obimin? What are the alternatives food/fruits i can replace with?

Pulsing beat in week 28

Is that normal to feel my lower abdomen a pulsing sensation? It feels like heart beating. I had it last night. This is my first pregnancy so i need advice thanks! #firsttimemom #FTM #firstbaby

Pregnancy symptoms

Hello!! I’ve actually heard many mummies said that they could feel those early pregnancy symptoms even before they did their pregnancy test. Is that very common? I am 3 days late for my period, but i dont feel any symptoms as of now.. no breast tenderness, nausea or anything. Does that mean that high chance conception/implantation didnt occur if by now i still dont feel anything?

Abdominal cramps week 33

Hi, anyone experienced on off cramps at around week 33? Is this normal? Is it signs of contractions? Felt like menses cramps but bearable #FTM

Same im also experiencing it now like once in a while. At 30 weeks now. Also scared its contraction but some say its braxton hicks
