Breathless/short of breath @ 33 weeks

Im a ftm and currently 33 weeks. Is it normal to feel like breathless or short of breath even when im not doing anything? Like just sitting or laying down 😩

yes very normal.. the weight of baby is pressing ur lungs already

1+ protein detected in urine test

I was admitted to hospital due to high fever at week 30, doctor did several tests for me including urine test. I found out my results was 1+ for protein and 4+ for ketones. I want to ask if the results are caused by the persistent high fever? #advicepls #firsttimemom #FTM #firstbaby

Staycation @ 37 weeks

Me and husb planning to book for staycation on our anniversary, which by then ill be 37 weeks, end of aug. Is it risky ? Cs 37 w is considered full term and baby can come anytime but i also heard first time mummies usually give birth nearer to edd and my edd is on mid sept. Staycation within singapore tho #FTM

I won’t say all but most FTM usually won’t give birth early, either few days before/after EDD. A staycation is still possible at 37 weeks and since it’s still in Singapore it should be alright. However, please do still check with gynae as I am replying based on your post hence idk your pregnancy conditions, your gynae still knows best.

Sore after pre natal massage

I just went for my first prenatal massage at babies bellies, i rarely go to massages as i cant handle pain. Is it normal to feel body sore after prenatal massage ? Or is prenatal massage suppose to be gentle and relaxing? Cause mine was quite painful. Not sure if its too much strength or because im not used to massages

Normal to feel sore if u havent done massage in long time. I did the first one at week 20 and super sore but that’s also because my muscle very tight. I think after 2-3 sessions i dont feel much soreness i even ask to add more pressure but cannot coz it’s prenatal haha

Father of child

Hi. Please dont judge me… 1st day of my last period was on 16 September 22. I had unprotected sex with my bf which is on 22 sept. Then I had unprotected sex on 27 sept w someone else. I have a 29-30 cycle roughly based on my app. Which is likely the father of my child?

You can try NIPT test after week 10, I think this test can help to determine father’s DNA.

Hospitalisation Leave before ML

Hi mummies, FTM here. Im thinking of getting Hospitalisation Leave like 3 weeks before giving birth/Maternity leave. Usually how does HL works? Doe they give you 2-3 weeks first ? And if you have not given birth, theyll give you another HL ? At which week did you get/start your HL and for how long is your HL before your Maternity leave ? I know it depends on gynae if theyre lenient or not. #FTM

Baby decided to arrive earlier than expected so I only took a few days before my planned c section 😅

Pre & post natal massage

Having swollen ankles now at 32 weeks. Is it too soon? How do I get rid of it fast??

drink water, loads of it. it helps with water retention and good for you & baby. avoid food high in salt & sugar. elevate feet when you sleep or whenever you can.

Been having appetite only for food like bread, burger or waffles and not rice or noodles... is this healthy. #firsttrimesterhere

As long as you also add some protein and fiber and not too much processed food I think it’s ok:)
