First pregnancy/baby prone to be induced ?

Hi mummies, my edd in few weeks time and am scared if baby dont want to come out by 39/40 weeks as i heard induced is much more painful. Do most first pregnancy end up being overdue and induced ? #FTM

FTM, I was induced at week 40 due to low fluid, my birth experience was painless tho. Just take whatever pain reliefs (I took laughing gas and epidural) are offered as long as you start feeling the contractions.

I know during pregnancy there's always time tat will have mood swings. But today I have an extremely sad mood about missing my mom (although she just live just 5 mins away). And cried so badly. Is it normal?

Sis. Its totally normal!! I was at your position. Currently staying with in laws. And my parents stay not so far, still within same estate. but i randomly cry cause i miss them. Quite alot of times. And sometimes i would cry otw back from their house. I even cry when i saw my dad eating alone outside(cs he’s servicing his motor and waiting for it to finish😂) i cried very badly my eyes were very swollen. I even cry cs i miss my cat at home (‘:

Induce labour for 2nd pregnancy

Those who induced labour for the 2nd time, does it took as long as your first time?

I was induced for both my 1st and 2nd pregnancy. The time for both was the same for me. Pills was inserted around 2pm. I went down to delivery suite at 7pm. I took epidural about 8pm and gave birth around 9pm.

Difficulty pooping @ 3rd trim

Im coming to 34 weeks. Past few days/weeks, i do poop everyday but most of the time i always need to push very very hard and strain myself in order for the poop to come out. To the point i sometimes scared ill push the baby instead. Or there are times when my stomach hurts and i need to poop but no poop comes out. Is this common in 3rd trim ? Is it considered constipation ? Or not ? Since i still poop everyday just that i always need to strain myself. #FTM

I had constipation throughout my pregnancy. Get help from gynae, I was given fibre drink. Yucky but it worked

Rant. My own mother got upset with me because I don’t follow her “advice” and have my “own ideas”

And told me that she’s losing excitement being a grandmother because of that. I got v upset and haven’t replied her since. Stuff like she wanted me to take tonic soups but I said better not to take herbs from what I see even in this app, then even confinement nanny I wanted agency instead of finding freelance, she said last time people got freelance good enough etc. Don’t know how to deal with her! 😖

When to do preadmission

At which week did you do your preadmission/booking of ward @KKH? Some say 36weeks some say during labour itself. #FTM

You can do from 36 weeks onwards.
