High risk of Down Syndrome baby after OSCAR test

Received our OSCAR test results and results show high risk more than 1:50 for fetal Down Syndrome (Trisomy 21)😢 Doc suggested to do either CVS or amniocentesis to confirm the diagnosis. (Or none if we chose to keep baby regardless.) But both are invasive and will have some risk of miscarriage. Hub and I thinking if NIPT (Harmony or Panorama) is an option instead of invasive methods. Anyone experienced someth similar? Should we go for invasive directly or NIPT? #advicepls #firsttimemom

Good chance that result is inaccurate and should have gone straight for Panorama. Now doing both is going to cost more

No, as I understand pineapples have enzymes that increase the risk of miscarriage

Hi mummies, just wanted to ask if it's normal to lose weight at third trimester? I've been looking after my diet after my GDM diagnosis and have been going for walks quite often. And I've realised I lost about 1.5kg.. is it ok to lose some weight at this point of pregnancy? #firstbaby #pleasehelp #advicepls

Empty sac. Apologies for the photos just wana share n could have some idea

I went to kkh o&g this morning. Bcos i found what tat call spotting on my pantyliner yesterday night brownish on pantyliner when wipe with tissue i saw red accompanied with white discharge. This morning my first pee i see nothing on my pantyliner but wipe with tissue theres blood. Today doctor scan my vagina he say he can’t find what caused the bleeding. All he see is an empty sac. Say i gave wrong calculation. By right I should be 6 week base on doc is 5 week. Doctor not prescribed any medication just continue with my folic acid n come bck after 2 weeks.. now i still see brown discharge. Im starting to worried im starting to feel sad but I don’t wana spoil my day n mood.

Don’t feel or worried… at this stage ,a lot of things are still uncertain.. but having shown a sac is already a good sign to begin with! Doctor ask you to go back a few weeks later probably to check if everything is falling in the right place.. I went through the same phase as you, I was scared and worried all the time..even when I was 10 weeks, I was bleeding and I freaked out.. but there is really nothing much can be done at the phase.. just take folic acid and continue to have faith… many other things to worry still.. as of now, just lead your life as per normal and be happy!!!

Can csect take longer to heal for diff people

Is it normal to take longer to recover from csect than what mostly mentioned as 6 weeks? I read everywhere says by 6 weeks you should recover. Im so worried im at week 5 almost 6, and i still have pain every now and then at incision and also lower abdomen/tummy. My lower tummy is also still hard? Not sure is the muscle or what I went to gynae last week and she said my incision healing well and scanned my internal looks fine. But not sure why uptil now im still having ache/pain/swelling on my right pelvic area and lower tummy. Like the muscle and ligament is still in pain

Hi. Yes mama its different for everyone. I am 7 months post partum and i still feel nerve pains sometimes and some sciatica every now and then. Please remember that our body was cut through 7 layers, and it takes time to heal, just like a scar or a popped pimple. Everybody's body is different. Just do your best and take one day at a time. It will get better.

Antibodies in blood

Hi, the hospital called to inform me that they found antibodies in my blood thus I need to come down to take further blood test. Is this something I should be concern of? Any advice ? Would appreciate it a lot. Thanks in advance.

Hi mummies! Just curious, does the baby in the stomach only kick at 1 spot or different spot? I feel mine only at one spot, I don’t know if that’s normal?
