Joie Parcel Signature

Hi all! Any review on the Joie Parcel Signature Stroller? :) Or any other recommendations that fit our needs: 1) Can be folded with one hand into compact size 2) light weight (less than 7kg) Was looking at the Joie Baggi 4WD drift as well but it doesn't fold as compact as the Parcel. Thank you!

My friend recommended me that stroller and we got it too! So far so good, sturdy and easy to fold and not too heavy!

How to know you are pregnant with twins ?

Hi , just out of curiosity , is there any way to tell u are pregnant with twins before seeing a doctor ? Symptoms etc ? #Curiosity

nope. i didnt know i had twins before the first scan. Symptoms get more worse than a singleton pregnancy i guess. im at 22 weeks and still feel nauseous and vomitting tho not as bad as during week 9 to 15.

Yeast infection at 28wks

Last week I found out that the skin ard my vagina was largely tender and raised. I brushed it off thinking it could be nothing. Two days later, it became so red, itchy and the skin was shedding. There was a white cast on the skin. My husband googled and said it could be a yeast infection. I read that high estrogen could alter the balance of bacteria and yeast, causing this. We also found that tea tree oil could help so I started using it . Though it helped with the itch, using it neat made me uncomfortable. The oil was very hot. Later I found that I should have diluted it w a carrier oil. When I did, I felt so much better. Today is my 6th day. While I did go to the GP on the 4th day and was prescribed a broad spectrum anti fungal cream, I just wanted to share that tea tree oil also works. Just putting it out there because I couldn't find any related post about this when I was searching.

Second c-section

Hi c-section mummies! This is my second pregnancy and my c-sect is scheduled at 39weeks 2days gestation (elective c-sect). My first was out at 39weeks, also elective c-sect. But this time my tummy is much bigger (33w), I’m also starting to feel pressure down there.. praying that baby will stay inside till the chosen date. Any c-sect mummies goes into labor earlier in your second pregnancy? And does second time c-sect hurts more than the first?

My second c-sect was also scheduled at 39 weeks and I did feel more pressure earlier compared to my first, so what you're feeling is pretty normal. Just make sure you inform your gynae about the pressure at your next visit so they can monitor and decide if the date needs to be brought forward lah.

Anxious and worried

Hi mommies. It’s my first pregnancy and I’m at my 5 weeks 3 days. Feeling quite worried because I don’t experience much symptom ever since Dr confirmed my pregnancy. Used to feel nauseous before I discovered I am pregnant. Now I’m only experiencing cramps that comes and goes every 1-2 times a day. The soreness of my breast have also lessen. Should I be worried? My first check-up at KKH is in 2 weeks. #firsttimemom #advicemommies #advicepls #firstpreganancy

Twin pregnancy with 3 week discrepancy

Anyone had twin pregnancies but with significant growth discrepancies between the twins? Found out that I have one twin at 10 week growth and one twin at 7 week growth.. not sure if this is due to superfetation (super rare phenomenon) or just that one twin is not growing normally. Anyone else has such experiences and able to share if both twins were eventually born normal?

Information on risk of miscarriage

Just found out today that I will be undergoing c section under LA instead of GA. The thought of staying awake while being cut and stitched is abit scary to me. Would like to check if husbands are allowed in the operating theatre for c sec under LA. Doing it at mount Alvernia. Your response would be appreciated

I had it last year at PEH and my husband was with me. The whole process was a breeze. Never regretted my decision to opt for c section

Faint T line in pregnancy test

What does faint line on T in the pregnancy test mean ?

for some people the hcg level will be low so the line might be lighter. please check once more with the first pee in the morning on https://testmyspeed.onl/.

NUH Private Antenatal Package & Delivery Costs

Hi mummies, I heard the antenatal package at NUH includes 20 weeks & 32 weeks detailed scan? Does it include normal ultrasound bedside scans every visit? Also has anyone recently delivered with NUH under private A ward? How much was your bill? Open to hear about both Natural / Csect #advicemommies #advicepls #pleasehelp #firsttimemom

Doesn't include normal ultrasounds. My gynae sometimes just measure my fundal height or use the doppler to listen to heartbeat. only when past 37 then gynae started to scan, but it's a short one to check the heartbeat, nothing detailed
