CMV positive (IgM and IgG reactive)

Hi mummies, I am CMV positive during my first trimester and just suffered a miscarriage at 10 weeks pregnancy. Wanted to know if there are any successful pregnancies for mummies with a past CMV infection?

I really feel you on this, and I'm so sorry for your loss, please know you are not alone in this. I don't have personal experience with CMV but I think it would really help to have a detailed conversation with your gynae or a specialist about what this means for your next pregnancy, so you go in with clarity and peace of mind. Many mummies do go on to have healthy pregnancies after difficult first chapters, so please don't lose hope yet.
