Low HCG in early pregnancy

Hi pls help urgent. I am now 6 week and 3 days pregnant but I got bleeding so I went to check up then ultrasound say cannot see baby. Did blood test but HCG level is not so good, it's low. What can I do? They say ask me to lie on bed better, tomorrow do blood test again see whether HCG level will be double or not. How?

Anyone got cervical polyps and experienced bleeding (sometimes with some tiny clot) during their pregnancy and still gave birth a sweet baby?

This blogger mommy writes candidly about her experience witth cervical polyps during pregnancy. From what I gathered from her post, she mentioned giving birth to a son and that her cervical polyps seem to have disappeared after that. When do your notify your company regarding your pregnancy?

Most of my friends informed their immediate supervisor as soon as they knew (but after first trimester for their general colleagues). Requested for a meeting with them and informed them personally. A few waited till they have past the first trimester. I would suggest not waiting too long. This will help avoid any misunderstanding and also help with planning of work distribution.

With the zika virus around, how should expecting women avoid or is there a need to use any mosquito patch? Which brand is ok for expecting mothers? Thanks.

Best to check with you doctor regarding which brand of insect repellent to use. Other tips for preventing getting mosquito bits are: - Remove sources of standing water to minimize potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes - Use window and door screens to prevent mosquitoes from getting into the house - Sleep under mosquito net to minimize chances of getting bitten by mosquitoes - Avoid traveling to countries with ongoing outbreaks (list of countries here: https://www.moh.gov.sg/content/moh_web/home/pressRoom/Current_Issues/2016/zika-virus.html)

I want to try normal delivery with epidural but I just saw the epidural needle is very thick and long. This is my 1st pregnancy and I am already having mental breakdown due to contraction & labour pains. I had nightmares everynight and cannot sleep from 2am to 6am daily! So seeing this thick needle makes me even more stressed and scary now. I am really scared of pain extremely. How do they administer into the spinal or epidural space? Is it going to be very painful when they insert into the spine? Any anesthesia to numb the spine area prior insertion of the epidural needle?

I just gave birth 2 days ago and epidural is really a lifesaver from the contraction pains! I used the laughing gas while they administer the epidural as I was shivering so badly from the contraction pains. With the gas, your whole body becomes numb and the pain becomes bearable. Don't watch any videos to scare yourself! It's not that scary!
