Sharp pain for a while while peeing on a full bladder

Hi I’m currently tested positive 2-3weeks for pregnancy. It’s my first pregnancy and have yet to consult a gynae, am ask to go back for a scan after 2 weeks in KKH. I just experienced sharp pain for a while while I was peeing on a full bladder. And today I walked quite abit. Now I no longer feel the sharp pain. Should I be concern? What should I look out for? Please help. Thank you!!

Spectra! The best pumping machine but mine is not the portable one so it’s a bit of a hassle.

baby found to have triphalangeal thumb and polydactyly

Hi there, wanna know if there are any mummies whose baby has an extra digit on the hand? E.g. extra thumb, extra finger, extra joint on a finger etc. My baby was found to have triphalangeal and polydactyly. So wanted to hear from mummies with similar experiences on what to expect. Just wanna share that I am okay with my baby having triphalangeal and polydactyly :) will still keep my baby despite this congenital anomaly.

it’s quite common i know a few friends whose babies have these, they opted for surgical removal after birth.m

Avoid or reduce for GDM?

I’m diagnose gestational diabetes cause by only starchy food. I need to stop eating or just cut down? I avoided all starchy food but it seems like don’t have any food to eat as those healthy food (eg. Brown rice, wholegrain bread, salad etc) i don’t like 😅

It’s really a sacrifice you have to make to avoid any complications that may be caused by GD. You could start by reducing and move towards replacing them with healthier options.

Hi mummies I’m currently 21weeks. But I don’t feel anything at all? No symptoms no kicking no nothing. Is this normal? So worrying! :(

is this 1 st pregnancy? wait for another few days. some feel kicking in 22 and 23 weeks too

Hi mummies! Anyone has baby delivered by Dr Tan Eng Kien? Any experience to share? Thanks!

Just delivered with Dr Ek Tan this year via csection. l actually switched to him mid pregnancy as I was not happy with my gynaecologist before him. Even post delivery, he followed up Patiently, was interested in my recovery and answered all my long winded questions. :)
