Anyone same as me?

Hey mummies, Im a real foodie before pregnancy. Fast food, sushi, spicy food are all my favourites. Now that Im pregnant, people around me are asking me to eat healthily. I have been on a healthy diet during the first 5 weeks of pregnancy, but I cant stop thinking about having unhealthy food and I got so sick just thinking about having healthy food. During week 6, I sort of gave up and had fried chicken. Believe it or not, I was crying while eating just simply because I was feeling so guilty. Satisfying my own craving while risking about not bringing any nutrients to the developing baby. Im feeling rather depressed that I cant eat what I want now just because I need to think about the developing baby. Any mummies feel the same?

Skin Problem “Vitiligo” During Pregnancy

I just realized that I suddenly had many white patches on my skins around my hair and body areas. It looks like Vitiligo. Do u have such problems? Will it affect my baby as well? I’m worried.

I’m currently 26 weeks and also noticed white patches. Seen dr n said might be vitiligo

KKH Dr Lee Jiah Min

Anyone took Dr Lee jiah min from KKH recently? Did she give any HL and is she generous with it? Tried to request for a memo from her to state that I should WFH as much as I can but was turn down as there was no medical reason for it.

Hmm I haven't seen her personally but I think most KKH doctors are quite strict about giving HL or memos unless there's a clear medical reason — they don't just give it on request lah. Maybe you can try explaining your symptoms in more detail during your next visit, sometimes they're more willing if you describe how you're feeling day to day. Hope you get the support you need soon!

Anyone used the real bubee breast pump before? How do you guys clean it? Can we put it inside the lolababy steriliser?

Yes I used it. I used to put it in my haenim steriliser like normal along with my spectra pumps

Tracking baby kicks

How often should we track baby kicks? Do we do it the whole time we are awake? Or do we set aside a specific timing to count? Also how do we count the kicks? If there is one movement, and another in 1-2mins, is that considered as one or multiple movements? Or only if there are multiple movements in a few sec is considered as one movement? Any tracker app suggestion?

the asianparent app kick tracker is sufficient and quite intuitive to use. can even track whether if it’s a kick, punch, or just a roll. track once in the day and in the evening when baby is awake. no need specific timing. one movement is one kick, there can be consecutive movements in a minute, count those as one each even though it’s few seconds apart.

How to count Baby kick

How do we count the number of baby kicks? If there is one movement and baby move again after 2-3mins is that considered one movement? Or only if the movements are in succession within few seconds it is considered as one? Any kick counter app for to recommend?

This app itself has a kick counter. I’ve never tracked baby kicks before but if I’m not wrong, one movement considered one, don’t have to be continuous.

Travelling at 27 weeks

Anyone travelled when they are at 27 weeks. Planning to travel to Bintan by taking a ferry. Is it safe to do so? When would you advise to stop travelling?

Atypical finding on sex chromosome

Just got my NIPT result and the result is Atypical finding on sex chromosome. Gynae told me nothing to worry as the abnormal finding is due to the maternal chromosome. Anyone experienced this? Should i be worried about the baby? Result is low risk for the other conditions

NIPT at week 10

When did you do NIPT? Was told by gynae that we will be doing it at Week 10. Isit too early?
