Non-parents interfering with parenting style/caregiving style

Who hates it when a single, unmarried individual with no children tells you how to take care of baby/how to parent baby?🙋‍♀️Not wanting to sound obnoxious but I wonder why they think they can give advice? They are not even parents and do not have experience parenting. I am referring to people we interact on day-to-day basis and not professionals.

Faint + or evaporated line?

I have just took my pregnancy test. Late for 20+ days. Boobs swelling + nipples sensitivity 😫 Not sure if it’s a faint positive or evap line 🤔 #pleasehelp

When I wanted to get a confinement nanny my MIL was so resistant to it. She does not like strangers in her house and is paranoid about thief. She said she can help with taking of baby and doing some night shifts. So when baby came earlier than expected, I did not get one. She is happier that I didn’t get one. Now 2 weeks in, she has not done a single night shift. I just mentioned to her yesterday that her son is very tired. But she has not done anything yet. She does day duty and it’s not much cos everyone know nights are the toughest. Think she might not be confident w dealing with baby. But she has always said she has loads of experience and she did take care of 3 of her sons on her own and baby sitter to tonnes before. Just ranting. Thoughts of getting a helper and that will make her more uncomfortable 🤣

Let her son suffers the consequences. Hopefully he will voice out

Honestly I haven't seen anyone giving away the TMC bag recently, but it might be worth posting in the buy/sell/bless groups on Facebook as well since more mums are active there for this kind of thing. You could also try asking directly in the Thomson Medical parents group if there is one, because sometimes mums who delivered there recently still have extras they are happy to pass on. Give it a bit of time lah, someone might come forward here too.

Hello mummies, giving birth at KKH. Do they provide pads or do we bring our own? Also what are the necessities to bring/put in hosp bag? Also is a disposable breast pad necessary or will they provide? Saw some articles but feel like its too much of a list to bring. Ftm seeking for assistance. thank you!

hi i did give birth in kk under private,im cs all they provide even baby clothes diaper wipes all also my things they provide too
