Cny is just 2months away, any mummies got the family outfit for cny? This is the first time I'm celebrating with my mini family.
Anybody faces unfair treatment at work after maternity? My mgr use the co restructuring as a valid reason to take me out of my role and tasked to perform a much more junior role without a pay cut. The much more junior guy in my team was then promoted to same rank as me (triple promoted) and held on my role now. Before i went for maternity my mgr made the Hr to sit in the discussion after i voiced my displeasure but on my opinion tht was really just a tick in the box kind of thing and of coz HR supports my mgr. There is really nothing i could do now except to look for anothet role internally or externally. i felt so much angst at work everyday and has no motivation
What would you do if you think your helper has stolen something?
Anyone has any recommendation on companies that provide spring cleaning services? I cook everyday and I find my kitchen wall very greasy. Hope to give the kitchen a good scrub before the start of a new year!

Parents living in a small flat eg 1-2 room rental flat with no help at all. How do you prevent your children from catching the bug when they share the same room and same bed? I am sharing a queen size bed with my 3 girls below 5yo.

Have you had a bad day? Mine goes like this - I came home late with my boy last night and after settling down my boy and washing myself up, I slept at nearly 1am. I woke up at least 3 times at night to attend to my younger 1 year old boy. Husband just slept through without moving a muscle. Younger boy woke me up at past 7am. Husband continued sleeping. (There's something about him sleeping that drives me nuts.) Shortly later my older boy crashed my head with his hard toy car and i yelled for everyone to get out of the bedroom. While still being sleep deprived, I managed to find out that my helper prepared milk for the younger boy when I had also prepared, ending up with 2 bottles of milk. I kind of lost it - I sat alone by myself with my book and ignored everyone. Just ranting.
How do you deal with a helper who keeps losing or throwing away things without checking? Mine has lost cutlery, kitchenware and even a queen sized bed sheet disappeared into thin air! Once I handed to her soiled baby clothes wrapped up in serviettes (because I had nothing else to contain the dirty clothes), she threw it away without even looking at what it was or asking me. There could be more that we are not even aware of. We had reminded her to be careful umpteen times, told her to check the rubbish before throwing, told her to always check with us but she's still losing things after working with us for nearly 1.5 years. She would apologise and repeats the mistakes again the next day. Losing the queen sized bed sheet is most unbelievable. Another problem with her is she makes her own judgement call on her own, and her judgement call turns out to be wrong. Eg, the things which she thinks can be thrown are not meant to be thrown and she doesn't check with us before throwing. She feeds my 1 year old baby a huge chunk of fried chicken skin (of 50 cents coin size). We would correct her when we see her mistakes, but I fear how many more mistakes she had made that we are not even aware of. Can I get some advice on how to teach her to be more careful and don't act on her own accord? Mere talking doesn't seem to work on her.
Does self employed mummy get subsidy for child's childcare ? Is it as Long working for at least 56hours per month is enough ? And declare that you r working 56hours ?
