I'm devastated. I think I'm pregnant. I wish I am. My first day of last menses was on the 14th November 2018. Till today, I'm about 9w5d pregnant. But on the 16th Jan 2019, I went for my first check-up at KKH. They claim they can't find the "baby" via scan. So they schedule me for another scan on the 31st. I'm scared, nervous, worried......... But I do not have any pain, cramp, spotting, bleeding and such. Anyone been through this before? p/s. I had a unnecessary caesarean on the April 2018. p/ss. My last two menses (sept-oct 2018) was irregular.

It’s quite possible if your periods have been irregular. I had a similar situation with my firstborn, but they were able to “find” the baby in the next scan. Let’s hope for the best. Take care (also better to start taking folic acid tabs)

Gynae from Parkway East Hospital?

Anyone can recommend a good gynae from Parkway East Hospital? Known to be East Shore previously. I read about Doctor Heng, but I prefer another doctor. What about Doc Ting? Anybody has experience with her? What are the charges like?

Durian's, local fruits!

Is it okay to eat durian for pregnant women? My husband is Sabahan people. Durian? some of local fruits in Sabah that's famous and one of Sabahan favourite fruit's! Even tho it smells but it tastes good! So can or not? My mother-in-law said, the pregnant woman can eat durian's but cannot eat too much. I'm confused cause it's too really yummy.

Ok to eat in moderation. But must avoid it if u have gestational diabetes.

may i know is it a must to go reunion dinner for pre and actual CNY?? Both my husband and i divorce. Waiting for final judgement. I have sole custody. care n control of my child. my husb separated for 2 years and dont even bother to see me and my child. planning to move on with my child. enough of shits that i hv gone through. my husb is abusive and i cant tolerate that.

New Mobile App To Better Connect Parents And Schools

Parents Gateway – the mobile app that connects parents and schools on key administrative matters – was officially launched by Minister for Education, Mr Ong Ye Kung, on 2 Jan 2019, at Huamin Primary School. In partnership with the Government Technology Agency (GovTech), the Ministry of Education (MOE) has developed Parents Gateway - a one-stop mobile app for parents and schools to better support their children’s educational journey through improved communications. The app, available on IOS and Android for parents, allows schools to send updates on programmes and activities. It also allows parents to perform administrative functions such as providing consent for their children to participate in school activities. Parents can use their SingPass accounts, SMS 2FA or OneKey Token1 to gain access to Parents Gateway. Parents using Android devices are advised to log in using SMS 2FA or OneKey token. Through this dedicated account, parents will be able to receive information and perform administrative functions for their children, even if the children are in different classes, or from different schools. Currently, there are 66 primary and secondary schools taking part in the initiative. MOE will progressively extend the app to all schools Additional services will be added to the Parents Gateway portal incrementally. For example, by the end of 2019, parents can look forward to completing travel declarations on their mobile devices, and updating their contact details.

Hello, because if the nasty experience of my current pregnancy and things that I might have to go through after I give birth. I’ve decided that this pregnancy will be first & last. But how Long do I have to wait after giving birth, before I can cut and tie? As I don’t not want to go through pregnancy again and get reminded of all the negative thoughts.

I am sorry to hear about your unhappiness for your pregnancy. Being a mother is a blessing so please take care of your health.
