What will be the best toys/games a dad can get for her 8 month old daughter. Like my daughter loves to see train running on track. what are other such toys/games I can get for her?

A barbie doll can be a good option. Unless you don't want her to be a fashionista :)

My wife just does not let me take care of the baby. My baby is 5 mths old now. It drives me nuts and I tried reasoning with her but she is becoming very hard to deal with. What do I do so that she trusts me more?

It's been 3 months and wife and me still not yet piak after LO come out. I know she is gone thru a lot and I should be patient, but I wanna check roughly how long is normal for most ppl? For my own knowledge only. Tia

It's normal that she may not want to do anything for the first six months while she's breastfeeding. For me it took four months to adjust to my new life as mum. So sex before that was totally the last thing on my mind.

Hi there. What avenues do dads out there suffering from Post-natal Depression have? This is mostly swept under the carpet by media and not enough information is out there for men. Men who grew up being the strong, silent archetype. Men who believe showing weakness is unmanly. I know a few dads who actually fear going home and are dying very slowly inside.

I am glad you brought this topic up. I think dads dont get the support we mums get and it's important that we shine the spotlight on them

Any one has volunteered in orphanages ? Any idea about the formalities here?

I guess it pretty much depends on which Orphanage you go. I used to volunteer at Pertapis and I would address the adults there as "Kak" (big sister in malay) unless they had introduced themselves with a salutation. The kids there call me "Kakak" or "Kak" and I honestly much prefer it that way because it's easier to gel with the kids that way and makes talking much more comfortable.

Do your wives support you in your sports activities?

Yeah, she love to see me to have some sports activities in a day. she wake me up 5am in the morning and we both go for cycling 🚴‍♀️ at least 2hours. It’s a good bond created between us.

My elder one is always bullying his sister, how can I improve the situation?

When bullying starts from home, do not be surprise if there are more bullying stories out there when he grown up. I think you should identify why the bullying starts. Is it jealousy or what? Then set the boundaries and punishment. It doesn't has to be traumatized but it should be good enough to tell the elder that what he did is wrong.

Today my 4 year old son drew a sketch of our family where he has shown his mother's breasts very elaborately. I was shocked to see his observation at such a young age. Should I do something or ignore?

Looks like it’s not good environment at home. Be careful of such incidents. You should talk with kid about it and know how he is able to sketch in detail
