Which are the safest cartoon series for 4-6 yr olds? i was horrified by violence and foul language shown in some.

My daughter is also love to watch peppa pig.its nice cartoon. Well mannered.

My elder one is always bullying his sister, how can I improve the situation?

When bullying starts from home, do not be surprise if there are more bullying stories out there when he grown up. I think you should identify why the bullying starts. Is it jealousy or what? Then set the boundaries and punishment. It doesn't has to be traumatized but it should be good enough to tell the elder that what he did is wrong.

Today my 4 year old son drew a sketch of our family where he has shown his mother's breasts very elaborately. I was shocked to see his observation at such a young age. Should I do something or ignore?

Looks like it’s not good environment at home. Be careful of such incidents. You should talk with kid about it and know how he is able to sketch in detail

I look at other dads and I feel inadequate. I lost my job 3 months ago, and my baby just came last month. We are depending on my wife's income right now. I hate being a stay at home dad, but what else can I do? Please suggest things I can do (while applying for jobs) to get my mind off the entrapment I feel.

I have lost total freedom after having our baby. My wife makes sure I get home as soon as work is over - I have lost my time with my colleagues after work, friends and even relatives. I feel trapped. What can I do?

A baby does change everything. What worked for us was having a routine for the baby. So our son now goes to bed by 7-7.30pm, so we make sure we're home to see him to bed. But after he's asleep, we have the evening free - to spend time with each other or meet friends/ family for dinner etc. Work after drinks might be tough but it doesnt mean your social life is dead. If one of us is tied up and cant be home at 6pm-ish, then we make sure the other parent is home early to put him to bed. It requires a bit of coordinating and some compromise but it comes together eventually!

I keep on having doubts about my parental abilities and can't somehow talk to my wife about it. She is 7 weeks pregnant and now I am starting to worry. Any suggestions?

I'm a dad of a one year old. I'm struggling to find time to make plans with others. And to be there for my baby at the same time. How do you manage being a good dad and make time for others and for yourself?

Are your friends daddies too? If they are, you can have a daddy-date group like the one I saw in that movie, "What to expect when you're expecting". This group of dads meet up with their kids for playdates and it's a strictly no mommy zone/time and they get to share their secrets, problems and whatever happens in the group stays in the group. Today my 12-year-old son asked me how much daddy makes. How do I have this convo with him? How much do I disclose?

Whenever kids ask difficult questions, it's helpful to throw the question back to understand where the curiosity is coming from. Ask him why he asked that so you can approach the answer better.
