Shaving baby’s hair

Hi. Is it a must to shave baby’s head at least once? My in-laws have been nagging to shave it since birth. My son is 15m now, and they still wont let go. They keep telling me shaving is good for the baby. The hair will be even and thicker. Tbh, that doesnt matters to me. And so they changed their statement now. Now they tell me my son cant go into the temple if he doesnt shave. I told them me and my siblings did not shave as well. Why do they insist on shaving it?

Not necessary to shave hair. Only if baby hair is too little or not growing evenly, can consider shaving baby hair for more even growth.

Red marks / rashes

Hi Mummies! Anyone who experienced this kind of redness on baby? My son just had it. Not sure if this is eczema? Or heat rash?

it is hard to tell just from looking whether it is eczema, heat rash, or something else, it would be good to bring him to see your PD just to be safe. They can take a proper look and give you the right advice on how to treat it.

Hi, is it normal to be having difficulty in sleeping during the first trimester? or does it happen throughout the pregnancy?

I had difficulty throughout, but it's worse 3rd trimester - I think it's also from the stress of trying to sleep on the left side which I'm not accustomed to.

Heat rash? Baby acne? Cow’s milk allergy?

Hi all, i would like to ask your opinion as all the above has similar symptoms. I went to polyclinic and the doctor said it’s normal and will be gone within the 3 months of age. I’m a first time mum and worried as it does not seem to subside.

i know its weird but my boy had pimples all over the face when he only 1 month.....now 6 month already all clear up. Just use wet wipe to clean his mouth area after u feed baby. Also my god what lovely chubby cheeks.❤❤

Baby poop after solid

Ever since my baby started solid, her poops are not soft. They come out in small pebble size. Sometimes medium size and sometime can be long. Baby will cry to push the poop out. Like cry cry. Loud cries which is not her usual. She poo 2-3 days. Baby is 8mths. Baby drinks water and milk well. Eats about 2 times a day now Any mum experience this? What should i do. Is it normal?

Tiny bump on front fontanel of 10 month old baby

I noticed small bump on his top head couple of days back. It seems its the soft spot area which is hard now. It's noticeable only if I touch with hand.

Is it will move by itself? Mine also had

Im worried. My baby hasn't sit on his own or start to crawl.

My son is already 7months old. And he has yet to crawl or sit up on his own without support. I put him to sit with a back support, he sit awhile then drop. And he have not started to crawl yet. I am worried.#1stimemom #advicepls #firstbaby

pls don’t worry.. each baby will develop in their own time!! don’t rush them. my 7 month old can’t crawl too. have you tried practicing with him everyday?
