Your own parents

How to do you deal with your parents who deem to be close to you but actually not. And they dont apologise for what they have done wrong. All they see is to love their 2 sons, but not this daughter. When they msg u, dont even call u, but when they msg ur husband, they call him 'son'.. sighs feels so sad

Double stroller

Can Joie Aire Twin Stroller fix into normal taxi boot (eg. comfort, Trans and city cab)

I really feel you on this because lugging a double stroller around Singapore with taxis is such a real concern, and I wish I had a definitive answer for you. I don't have firsthand experience with the Joie Aire Twin specifically, but what I would suggest is to pop by a baby fair or a store like Mothercare or Baby Hyperstore to physically fold it and measure it, since taxi boot sizes can vary quite a bit even within the same fleet. It might also be worth asking in the Joie Singapore Facebook page or their customer service directly, as they would know the folded dimensions and can advise lah. Other mums who own this stroller would really be the best source here, so hopefully someone in this community can share from real experience soon.

TSH/ hypothyroidism in newborn

My newborn just got diagnosed with hypothyroidism and needs to be on medication for 3.5 years for a start. Any mummies have similar encounter? I am quite skeptical of having my baby on long term medication but seems like there isn't a choice.

thyroid problems are quite serious, without medication condition will get worse. afraid there’s no other option.

Joie range strollers

Hi! Is anyone using the Joie Muze LX or Joie Mirus stroller? Would you recommend it? I'm considering between the 2 and the Muze comes with an intant car seat which seems to be a pretty good deal!

I think it depends on your needs. Initially I wanted a stroller tt comes with the infant seat too but my hubby prefers to have a proper car seat tt can just leave in the car, and can also be used till my boy is older. So we chose a less bulky stroller so tt it's is easier for overseas travel as we go on holidays rather frequently. Mine is also the Joie brand but the Signature collection. We cld add on to include the infant carrier too but I now find it redundant. So really depends on your needs. If u have a car, better to buy a proper car seat tt can take baby from infant all the way to kindergarten. It's for safety too. But if you use Grab/taxi more, then yes the stroller with the infant seat would be more useful.

At what age did you share outside meals (eg. At restaurants) with your baby?

If rinse the food with water to remove the salty gravy, can I let my baby have outside food earlier? Sometimes it's just so troublesome to have to think of bringing separate home cooked foods for my baby 😩

I just gave my boy outside food as soon as he started to eat beyond puree. My boy was and still is a fussy eater so if he does eat, be it home cooked or outside food, it's really a win alr for me. So far he never experienced any diarrhea or stomachache frm eating food outside. But tt's also because he rejects many 😅
