Do you feed your baby when baby is awake and has hunger cues or only when baby starts crying?

E.g if it’s already 1.5-2 hours which is usual baby hungry time and has hunger cues Or wait will only after baby starts crying for milk? Thanks! #advicepls

it's part of growth. as the body develops inside stomach n the oesophagus it will close up. nothing to worry

Interracial couple baby name?

Hello everybody! we are a interracial race couple (Chinese wife - Malay Husband) . Our baby will be due next year & currently we are thinking of baby names. We would like her to pick up Chinese language, thus would have a Chinese name as well. So we are wondering, how would the name be like ? hi! had friends who are mixed! had one with Malay Name - English Name - Surname (eg Haziqah Charlotte Tan), one was Surname - EnglishName - Malay Name (eg Chong Isaac Iskandar), another was Malay Name - Surname - Bin/Binte - Father’s Name (eg Alisyah Quek Binte Rahim Quek) & the longest one was English Name - Malay Name - Chinese Name - Surname - Bin/Binte - Father’s Name - Surname (eg Isla Madinah Zo En Lee Binte Zack Lee! but i remember all of them agreeing that filling up forms especially OTAS sheet back in school was a nightmare 🤣🤣🤣 but for birth cert wise, i think can do something like Jayleen Tan Binte Father’s Name then the next line underneath would be her name in chinese characters without spelling in hanyunpinyin. saw this on some friends too! they even have arabic names!

2.5 months old a little flat head

Is it normal for baby to be a little flat head at the back ? Its not literally rounded. Tho when he sleep he would turn his head here and there. And we dont use pillow. Will it affect his brain or function ?

Some babies do experience flat head. I’ve been using flat head pillow and rubbing her head clockwise since birth and it works pretty well tho. Her head is very round as mentioned by people around her 😅. And no, flat head will not affect his brain or function. It’s more obvious because they don’t have much hair, once their hair starts growing, you can’t really see the flat head. Anyways I used pillow since there is always people with her. But if baby is sleeping alone, best to do without the pillow. Try helping him to switch sides when he sleeps.

Baby laundry

I have a 8 month and 2 yrs old baby. Always get mould or black spots on their laundry. How often do you wash? Any specific water temp? Any specific laundry. #pleasehelp

For any spit ups or urine stains, have to soak and wash immediately else the black spots (mold) will appear. For normal laundry, I do once a week using cold water function. For spit ups/urines stained clothings, immediately by hand wash.

How to cook baby’s porridge

Im a ftm, ive never cooked porridge before. And would like to know in advanced how and when to cook baby’s porridge. At which month did you introduce porridge to your baby? How do you make baby’s porridge? Or specifically which device/cooker do you use ? Do you use specifically for baby or just use normal rice cooker? And usually how much/ how many portion did you cook and how long does it take? Can give me links if you have any! Sorry for the lots of questions as im still new and clueless. Thank you so much!

When did you use your ergobaby carrier for baby?

Mine has hit the minimum weight and height but I heard some people still don’t use until a few months old? My bb is 1 month old now. For those who use at this age, are the baby’s legs tucked inside like womb position or hanging out? Thanks in advance

Hi! My baby’s birth weight and height matches the minimum criteria however he looks too small and very uncomfortable in it esp he’s very fragile and “jelly”. My husband and i then tried again when he’s 2 months old then its alot better. Trick is, since baby is still small, buckle the lower supper below your boob/rib area, instead of around waist or hip. Baby will be more “lifted”. And yes both legs hanging out

Hi mummies. I had a positive pregnancy kit. Went for my first 8 weeks ultrasound but didnt detect pregnancy. Is this too early or its ectopic pregnancy?
