4 months old flip in his sleep but face down

Hi mummies, please dont scold or bash me as im a first time mum and still learning. I know we shouldnt swaddle baby once they have started to flip. But my almost 4 months old need to be swaddled for him to sleep else he will cry murder. And yes we’re using white noise etc but the important thing is swaddle. We’re using the velcro swaddle. Sometimes his hands would break loose. Sometimes its fine. Past few days altho he has learnt to flip, he still sleep peacefully without moving much. However this middle of the night to me surprise, I heard a cry thats unusual. So i woke up instantly and he was already flipped on his tummy, and his face was facing down! And he was struggling. Really thank god i woke up on time else theres a chance he might suffocate himself. Altho he knows how to flip, sometimes when he’s tired or sleepy, he woulnt be able to lift his head much and would end up face down. Any mummies experience same thing and any tips to make sure he wont flip when he sleep? And also he’s down with bad cough i think thats what made him woke up in the middle of the night, which usually he would sleep through the night.

4 months jab when sick

If baby has cough and flu, can still proceed to take the 4 months jab? Or need to reschedule

Baby sick when changing month

Is it true that some babies fall sick when theyre changing month? Like from 3 to 4 months etc

No. But my baby seems to be more cranky on that day

Do i need to size up teat?

Hi mummies, my 4 months old using avent bottle, size 1 teat. Usually he would take 10-15 mins to finish milk. But recently he takes longer (20-25min) and sometimes fuss in the middle of feed. Does that mean its time to size up the teat to teat 2? He’s drinking 150ml of fm

Husband does all night feeds

Just wondering, those whose baby is formula fed, any of you have a husband that does all the night and middle of the night feeds? I feel bad that my husband does all the night and middle of the night(if theres any) every single day. As my husband let me sleep and rest. But i feel like a bad mon/wife for prioritising my sleep. Just wondering if any husband out there that does it everyday. 4 months now, had a looong csect recovery since then my husband does the night feeds.

4 months old flu & cough

My baby is currently in IFC and suddenly he develops flu, and coughing. 4 months old. He’s never coughed like this or even had flu before, breaks my heart. Is there anything i should do as theres no medication for small babies. He’s still drinking well and active. Currently just using sterimar spray, nasal suction & iliadin nasal drop. Also garlic balm on his chest, back and bottom of feet #firsttimemom

Expressing milk for working mums

Hi mummies, any advice for a FTM here? Going back to work in couple of months, any advice or suggestion on how should I go about expressing my milk during work hours? Do I do it on a 3-4 hourly basis or as and when necessary? How do I store it and bring them back home? Do I need a cooler bag just for my milk? Please help!!! Open to any advice and suggestions!!
