I just started tummy time. How long should bub last before she starts wailing and I put her back on her back?

My friend started out with just two to three minutes for her two-month old. She tries to have tummy time two to three times a day. Sometimes, she simply places her baby on top of her chest for a short while. Now her baby can last for a slightly longer period of time (around 10 mins) and is also showing more interest in trying to reach the things around her as she lift up her head to look around.

How often will my baby nurse or take a bottle, and how can I be sure she's getting enough?

If your baby is urinating and pooping often and growing in size and weight, those are the general indicators of good health. You might find this helpful too!

Is it me or does your day just zoom by when you have a newborn? I feel like I am in a nursing, burp, sleep, change diaper, nurse again time warp!!!

Anyone took newborn photoshoot? What is the best time frame? Within the 1st month or after?

It is best to shoot when baby is below 2 weeks old as they sleep most of the time and easier to handle. Also, don't you feel newborn's stage is the cutest stage?

I am not well. Cough and cold. No fever. I breastfeed baby thru expressed pumping. Is it ok to hold and play with baby or will I get her sick too?

Yes, it is safe to breastfeed while you are having cold and in fact it would be better to continue breastfeed as baby will get your antibodies to fight the virus in case she/he catch the flu. However, make sure that you practise highest hygiene level by washing and sanitising your hands frequently and wear mask when you handling your baby.

Initial phase will be difficult as you are used to being the primary caregiver and your son used to you being with him. But he will be exposed to a new community and will meet lots of new people. Both of you will get used to it later on
