Each day brings something new for your five-month-old. With increasing fine motor skills, your baby not only sees things, but reaches, grabs and tastes them, too! Offer a variety of safe toys in different shapes, sizes and textures. Touch and try. Invite your baby to explore all the features of a toy by going through them together, helping him feel the different textures and activate the sounds and movements. All of this sensory stimulation prepares a memory bank of experiences that will continue to grow. Playtime, anytime. Let baby enjoy activity toys with lots of colors and actions that tempt her to reach out and touch. This will enhance eye-hand coordination along with thinking skills. Baby will definitely be happy to receive soft books from you.

Soft cloth books are great practice for the real thing! It lets you demonstrate to your child how to flip a page as well as the concept of a book. A book is basically another form of peek-a-boo for them. Your child will be thrilled to see what happens when you open and close the book. He or she will want to touch it too, so soft books are really best for reading introduction.

definitely yes. using soft books for your baby is a great way to introduce the world of books. these are specially made for young babies and the best part is that your baby can hold and use them independently, without them being heavy or hurting your baby in any way. this is also the first step to encourage your baby to read, which will form into a lifelong habit :)

Ofcourse, a child's brain perceives a lot than you can imagine. When they see pictures, it gives them the sense of shapes, colours. When you read to them, they start to understand different sounds, alphabets and build their vocabulary of words. So it could be a wonderful practice and would facilitate their development.

Very young babies will love snuggling up with this soft, padded cloth book with a crinkle noise on every page! Stroking the sheep's woolly tummy, rubbing the shiny butterfly and feeling the dog's velvety ear will help to stimulate developing senses. Perfect as a very first book for children.

Yeap. I have lots of Lamaze clothbooks. They won't hurt your child and are fun and interactive. You can take the opportunity to read to your child to get her interested in reading. My baby likes being read to, but she also likes biting on the books because she's teething.

Babies at 5 months will most likely tear up normal books or it will end up inside their mouth. Cloth books will be safer and they normally come in flamboyant colours and they can attract baby's attention.

Sure. Just as long as the child doesn’t get used to gnawing on them.
