How often would you let your parents or in-laws babysit?

as we are in different cities i have never had them over to baby sit. the only times we did ask for their help was when i was hospitalized due to certain reasons and there was no one to look after the kids at home.

I will just tell them or baby is afraid of strangers or its time to go.

does your baby often bites during BF?

Usually happens during teething stage. But i will pinch his nose and pull out my nipple, so baby quickly realized he should not bite :)

Does your baby laugh and cry if hear certain words? mine always laughs whenever I say "vanilla" and suddenly cries whenever I say "goodnite" .. so funny!

Owww....your baby is so clever! My baby laughs when he hear 'Boo!' Coz his sisters love to play peek a boo with him.

I need a break but i have no baby-sitters. Any ideas?

Hi mommy! Ask hubby if he could baby sit even just for a while so you can have your 'me time'. You can have a full body massage to relax you. Go on a movie date with friends, have some catching up over coffee. If you are breastfeeding, you may want to pump milk first so baby will not be hungry while you are away.

Hi all my Baby is one month old and yesterday I realise there is a pink dot appearing on the middle of his head. Anyone experience this before? Is that a birthmark or mole?

Hi, I might think that it is a birthmark. This is what I found that fits the description of the red dot. It might be strawberry hemangiomas (also called strawberry mark, nevus vascularis, capillary hemangioma, hemangioma simplex) may appear anywhere on the body, but are most common on the face, scalp, back, or chest. They consist of small, closely packed blood vessels. They may be absent at birth, and develop at several weeks. They usually grow rapidly, remain a fixed size, and then subside. In most cases, strawberry hemangiomas disappear by the time a child is 10 years old. Some slight discoloration or puckering of the skin may remain at the site of the hemangioma. It wouldn't be too much concern as its on the scalp and when baby grows older and have longer hair, it's covered up. You may want to highlight this to your pediatrician at the next visit for vaccination

My LO (7 months old) will only look for his thumb to suck when he is gg to sleep (he suckle his thumb to self soothe to sleep). Other than this, during play time he will not suck his thumb. Will this be an issue? Need to even stop him from sucking his thumb when he self soothe to sleep?

It will be an issue if he keeps depend on his thumb to fall asleep. You need to remove his thumb right away when he starts to suck it. There's a chance it might be an annoying habit when he gets older.
