Do you sleep train your LO? If yes, how do you do so? If no, why?

May I check with all mummies and daddies who had experience~ when lo is having high fever 40 degree Celsius currently 6 months plu and I fed him with the fever medicine given by poly as he recently just had his immunization injection~ do I send him to hospital as his fever up and down ~ just this morning he had fever~

Which is the best ketchup for my child Heinz or Maggi?

It depends on your preference. My kid likes Maggi, though Heinz is equally good. You can try giving him giving both, and get the one he likes the most. But if your kid is small why don't you try homemade chutneys instead. It is more the batter if any condiment is homemade. How to change sleeping timings of my 4yr old ? Being vacations,he sleeps late and wakes up late. Next month his school begins. he is to reach school by 08.15am and stay there till 3pm. By the time he will reach home it maybe almost 4pm. He requires 10 hours sleep at night. now he sleeps by 11pm. Thanks in advance.

You know it can be very difficult for anyone, especially kids to suddenly change the sleeping time. So to avoid any problems with sleep time and the hours they get, I'd say you start a new routine at least two weeks before school starts. Let him have an early dinner, by around 8ish, so that he is in bed and asleep by around 9. That way, even if he wakes up at 7am, he'll get 10 hours of sleep. Instead of making him sleep after he's back from school, you can use the time to finish studies and let him play. This routine works best for my kids too :)

How do I clean my LO's navel? There is some brownish substance around his navel..

May I know how old is your baby? Is he a newborn? You can dip a cotton swab or the tip of a clean wash cloth in warm water and squeeze the tip to remove the excess water. Gently clean around the navel area.

What fruit juices can I give my 8 month old?

I wouldn't give juices, water is the best. Juices has sugar in them.

My husband and I are thinking of a date night for our wedding anniversary but my 4 months old baby refuses the bottle* and also only wants me to carry if not he will cry..... Since I am going back to work next month, we were thinking of using this opportunity to start training him by leaving him with my parents (technically he should be familiar with them but he also doesn't allow carrying) take care of him for 4 hours while we go out. Have any of you with similar experience? Will this progressive training work? How long is it fair to let him cry out? Or should we just eat at the kopitiam downstairs so that we can run back up if needed? *we have tried different bottles and I will go out of the house for that few minutes and let the other caregiver feed him but nothing works

I don't think it's considered cry it out if your parents pick him up & try to comfort him. Good luck !
