My baby has eczema and he used to have rashes ard the neck area when he was younger due to saliva. Now he is 7 months old so how do I differentiate if baby has a food allergy reaction or its just a normal rash?

My little one (1 month old) often fuss when I try to change her diaper, be it when she's sleeping, before her feeds or halfway through her feeds. She usually falls asleep after her feeds. If her diaper is only slightly wet, can I wait for a few more hours before I change her? Or can I apply thicker bottom balm so as to prevent diaper rash from forming during to the irregular change of diapers? Because of her fussiness, I can only change a maximum of 5 diapers for her a day. Thanks!

I think it also depends on the child. My baby doesn't fuss when her diaper is wet so we can usually wait a while to change it. I know some babies wail at the slightest wetness.

My LO kept having hiccups very frequent this few days, he's only 11day old. Is it normal for baby to have hiccups so frequent? How can I stop/reduce his hiccups?

My LO (27 days old) always hiccups around twice every day. When this happens I just latch her/ pat her back likewise to burping her and it will go away in a few mins.

Just wondering if I am the only 'fussy' mommy around who simply hates it when people (incl relatives) start using their fingers to repeatedly tease/tap my 4mo baby's cute chubby cheeks everytime they see her. I really don't like it at all...esp so because my mil has a bad habit of doing that repeatedly and non-stop for abt 10 times in a span of 1min! When i just delivered my nb back in march, mil kept doing that to my nb's cheeks and we all know how sensitive a nb's skin is..my hubby told her not to do that as her cheeks were slightly red then. Despite him telling her not to do so, she does it everytime she sees my baby and somehow I feel that it is done with the intention of pissing me off because we have already explained and expressed to her not to do so. Anyone out there shares my sentiments? Or better still, anyone out there disagrees with me and can make me see this in a different light and not get so pissed? Thanks!

Dear mummies, I understand that there is a chart showing the ergonomic and dangerous ways of baby carriers. For RS, my mother disagree that babies under the age of 4 months should be carried with the M shape. She felt that it would affect her legs development, which may cause her to walk like a duck in future. She is of view that the cradle sling is better for young infants. Any articles to show her that it is dangerous, and that the correct way of wearing a RS will not affect her body structure development? Thanks.

No fresh milk before 12 months. Only formula or breastmilk, please.

How to deal with growth spurts? Tried many ways, like carrying, play soothing music, feed more, but all seems useless. Baby just keep crying, and refuses to sleep, even though he seems to be very tired already.

Have you tried massaging his feet? That works like wonders with my baby go stop her from crying
