How often do babies wake up at night ? 8 month old

My bestie's baby son is about 8.5 months old and 80% of the time, he sleeps through the night. If not he will wake up once or twice for feedings. Depends on how much excitement he was exposed to in the day -- if it's a normal day with his scheduled naps and feedings, normally baby sleeps through the night.
