My 1 year old developed slight fever after a vaccination. Should I just give her some crocin and see how she is?

Yes, you can give her some Crocin. My ped always recommended Crocin for fever after vaccination. Still you can call your ped and ask him.

my baby wants to play outdoors almost the entire day, without any naps or food. she often throws a tantrum if i try to bring her home. what can i do?

Whenever you take her out, give her a condition that she can only go out if she promises to come back whenever you will ask her to. And if you take her out and she doesn't listen to you, calmly make her stand at one place on the park and tell her that she is breaking her promise by not listening to you and if she continues like this, you will not get her out the next time. And next time, she tells you to go out remind her how she broke her promise and that you will not take her. Be firm on your stand and do not take her out so that she know that if she will be stubborn, she will not be taken out. Repeat this, and I guess with time she will know when it is time to go home.

Kids get used to a certain habit when formed! He is a kid and doesn't realize the importance of naps or meals! For him, life is just a playground.. Fix his play times. Establish a routine for him. It might take a few days and he might throw tantrums but be consistent. Gradually, his routine will be set. Have patience!

May i know how to bring fm to ifc? I have been bringing bm. But supply dropped. Have to feed fm now...do you use the powder dispenser or any other convenient way?

Me and hubby swear a f*** load. We can't help it, as we work in male centric environment that's full of aggression. Baby spends alot of time "accompanying" us for weekends or when we are multi-tasking work while taking care of bub. What's the chances her first few words will be swear words?

Swearing takes off around the age of 3-4. Nor much you can do to protect your child

Anybody has good recommendation of nanny/babysitter for my 10 months old baby ? Prefer Christian Chinese nanny /babysitter with experience in handling babies

Have u considered nanny agency? I heard PEM has decent babysitters. U can request for christian chinese nanny.

I never give this much thought till now. I have never ever entered a nursing room nor diaper changing room in shopping centres etc before I became a mommy. Now I always check out where they are as soon as I reach. Do these upset you? They paste a signage to say it is solely for parents with children and babies and yet other folks abuse it. 1) Shopping centre staff go in to chit chat and put on makeup or get hot water when there is a separate pantry for them. There you are changing diaper and a man walks in to get water and tries to look. 2) An elderly aunty was almost "bathing" herself and splashing water all over herself and spitting non stop at the basin in the diaper/nursing room at Airport T3. She had also parked her hoarder trolley inside the sole nursing cubicle available. 3) An NTUC promoter locked herself in one of the 2 nursing cubicles for quite a while. We thought the door for this cubicle was faulty and that it got locked inside. A couple and their baby were deprived of the cubicle because a promoter hid inside to rest/chat on her hp. After half an hr when i went in again i saw her coming out, looking away and avoiding all eye contact with me. Whilst it is our privilege to have these facility, I am indeed thankful but will never abuse if I do not need. Just ranting. Share with me what you might do if you witness these scenarios. (nice and polite way)

How can I encourage my 9.5m baby to hold objects with both hands? I tried to let him hold his fave toys but he always resist and let go when I release my hands. He only play with one hand, either left or right depending. He is v laid back, not interested in toys and still can't crawl. Sits well and stands w light support. Any has heard of baby as lazy like him? Is this normal?
