May i know when should i transition my lo to a straw cup and what are the benefits? I read sippy cup is not recommended. which straw cup is recommended?

my 6MO uses the straw cup to drink. it's more intuitive than the sippy cup. you may consider the pigeon mag mag series.

My three week old daughter is only willing to sleep in my room and refuses to shut her eyes if she is in the living room or my parents in law's room no matter how tired she is once the sun sets. Daytime she is still not as fussy. Any ways to train her to be able to sleep in any rooms or be soothed to sleep by my other family members?

My friend uses a singing technique to lull her daughter to sleep. Everyone else in her family -- from her parents to the helper --- learns that song and they'd sing it to her whenever it's time for her to nap or sleep. It took a while to condition baby to fall asleep whenever the song is sang but it works. Just a suggestion you might want to try, on top of the great ones already suggested by Hui Qun.

Do you sterilise everything when feeding your baby? Our 7 month old is formula fed so obviously we sterilise her bottles, but we don't sterilise all the utensils, bowls, spoons etc. Is that bad?

Is there difference between friso stage 2 and dumex stage 2? LO drinks only 170ml friso. And most of the time struggling to finish sometimes only drinks half of 170ml or even less. But on dumex, LO finishes and drinks 180ml. Realise dumex is not as thick as compared to friso. there is no issue with friso stage 1. when on dumex stage 2 LO pees more than when on friso stage 1. (just switched to dumex for a try, was on friso stage 2) Any mummies care to share their views on both brands? Thanks.

Most of the time, the main difference is the taste of the milk and the price. In comparison most milk are the same. Over priced and overly rated here in Singapore.

If I add 60ml of water and 2 scoops of milk powder , total is around 70ml. Is LO considered drinking 60ml or 70ml?

My baby is teething and he is drooling a lot. That is causing him to have some rashes around his mouth - little bumps and also a bigger red patch where he tends to have his hand in contact with as he sucks his fingers. Will it help if I smear some breastmilk on the rashes? Any other advice on home remedies that might help? Thanks!

I use nipple cream for drool rash! Works like a charm!

What's some of your methods for helping with colic?

My girl had very bad colic when she's 2months plus. I changed the bottles to Dr Brown, feed gripe water/ridwind twice a day..

What to do if lo dislike to chew food? She lazy and prefer soft watery food that swollow .. She is 13 month old

U just give him soft food later on he learn slowly don’t force him .. let him njoy on his own way
