At which month do you all start bringing your lo out? I want to bring my 2-month lo out as I'm very bored at home but my husband and parents all felt that she is too young to be out. They told me babies can only be exposed to the outside environment after they are 6 months old when their immunity is stronger.

This looks like hand foot mouth to me. Any fever? Does she have ulcers anywhere around her body? what about her throat?

Very upset! Bought a Tula for my 8-month old and showed my mother in law. However, she told me such ergonomic carriers are not good for babies' development, and will cause their bones at the hip area to grow outwards and affect their walking next time. She forbids me to put her on the carrier and says a good carrier should make sure that the legs are as closed as possible. Told her the m shape was from the babywearing consultants and she said that the consultants are out to earn people's money and will not take any responsibility if the baby does not develop well. How?????

What are some things I can do at home to reduce baby fever. Thanks

Try giving a sponge bath to help bring the temperature down. Simply use room temp water to wipe down your child’s skin, particularly the forehead, neck and underarms. Also, dress your child in light clothing and keep the room well ventilated. Make sure he/she is well hydrated.

When should you visit the PD / hospital when 6-month old baby has a fever? My angel has been running a 38-38.5 degree fever for a few hours now. I have sponged her, fed her milk and used a kool fever patch. I have paracetamol for baby at home (from her vaccination). Should I give her that?

If she's kinda active, I'd just give her fever meds if I were you. Fight the illness, and gain more immunity next time ;)

My 11-week old sleeps for 18-20 hours a day. Is it too much? This is her usual routine, please help me see which parts I should change to let her stay active longer. Thanks! 9.30am- wakes up from sleep, feeding time and play 10.30am- sleep 11.30am- playtime 12.30pm- feeding time and sleep 3pm- wake up for another minor feed and return to sleep 4pm- playtime and bathing 5pm- feeding and sleep 6pm- playtime 7pm- feeding and sleep 8.30pm- playtime 10pm- diaper changing and feeding time 10.30pm- sleep till next day

May I know much does she drink per feed? Im wondering how does she sleep for 11hrs without any feed because mine wakes every 2-3hrs or even earlier in the night. I wish my child sleeps like yours. Mine is wake all the time!

my baby is 1 month and the constant crying is making me excessively angry. So much that I want to hit him. How can I control this as a mother? What is wrong with me

You are just tired and over whelmed by the new role of motherhood. speak to your husband and seek his help with the baby too. I'm sure there are some elders in the family who can help you too. Don't worry, it's absolutely normal to feel agitated or frustrated. Whenever you feel so just take a few deep breaths to calm down.
