Hi How much should 1month old baby drinks. Is there any calculation? Baby is drinking 100ml and weighs 5kg.She will usually have reflux about 4times during that 3hours till her next milk and sometimes will spit out about 10ml of milk it can be right after her burp or within the 3hrs. Out of 6 feeds baby will at least( i dunnoe if i should consider it vomit cause is about 10-20ml or reflux) she will have at least 3-4 times of vomit of that 10-20ml amount. I have tried reducing it to 70-80ml is still the same. I dunnoe what should i do now. She is always struggling to drink like flow too fast but when i remove it she will ask for milk.all bottles tried she struggle even latching also she's struggling (hand and legs)like choking. I burped baby at least 5 times still the milk flow out. Need mummies daddies advice Thanks!

My baby 1 month consume about 120ml as he is a big baby. so it actually depends on your baby size if not you can check with your PD

I'm feeding my little one purees right now. how will I know when I can advance to something less mushy/smooth? she's currently 6.5 months. we started introducing solids when she was abt 5 months.

Around 8 months for chunkier food - you can do steamed veggies or even things like Gerber puffs and baby pasta

My baby was fully breastfed up till now - we've just introduced solids. I understand she can now start drinking water to help ease constipation. But how much water can I feed her in a day? Is there a limit? She's still on breastmilk.

I personally would feed baby a few spoons of water after every meal. That is what i have been doing myself. Breastmilk or formula milk would suffice. Nevertheless i would say plain water is always good. Hope this helps.

I'm intending to bring my LO for a swim at normal swimming pool. Is there anything I should take note? She will be 4 months old next month. What type of swimming diaper should I get?

I actually started around 4 months. But I started in the baby pool and got floats and made sure I was holding her up the full time. For swim diapers I use Huggies swim diaper and a swim suit on top

This clump of blood came out from my vagina post delivery. Should I be concerned?

You just delivered? I think it's lochia. According to this article (http://sg.theasianparent.com/lochia_postpartum_bleeding_singapore/), Lochia will change from bright red, to pale brown and finally to yellowish white. While it typically stops one month after delivery, for some ladies, it could last till 8 weeks.

Hi, my LO is 3 weeks and I've been BF exclusively. Recently I noticed she's crying for feeding more often and at higher frequency (1.5 to 2.5 hours instead of 3-5 hours). She does not want to sleep after feeding at night and cries when we put her in the cot. My confinement nanny claims she is not full and she is naughty. Do you have any idea why she is like this?

First of all, your confinement nanny is ridiculous. A naughty 3 week old does not exist! Ignore your confinement nanny. As per pp, it sounds like a normal growth spurt. Are you feeding her until she naturally comes off the breast? If she falls asleep, do you try to wake her by tickling under her chin or her feet? This could help to give her a more substantial feed and send her into a deep sleep, so that hopefully moving her to the cot won't wake her.

How to deal with a toddler (3years old) when I ask my kid to do something and the reply always goes "I think..." "Later ok?" Constantly negotiating with me to stall time.

haha.. I used to do that as a child. My mummy will go "why not now?" in response and kept rebutting my responses till I finally gave up and do the task. Kind of a battle of wills. I'm glad she won most of the time as I've learned that it is really not that torturous to do the tasks now rather than later. Plus! I get to enjoy the activities more after I've cleared the tasks. Just sharing! haha.. not sure if it will work for your child.

Mist humidifier

Do you think mist humidifier is good for newborn baby sleeping in aircon room? I feel that the air is dry sometimes.

yes its good, but i'll skip the essential oil. :)
