Hi all, would like to check with you when you put your lo at 18 months to chip care centre , beside paying for registration fee, is it true that you need to pay for a deposit like around $700 plu for lo till he or she is 6 years old then will be refund back to u?

At my child's child care, the 1 month deposit is returned only when you give sufficient notice (2 months in our case) if and when we withdraw her from the center. (not necessarily 6 yo...)

Do you easily panic when your child is sick?

Yes, normal talaga sa ating mga parents ang mawindang at mag-panic kapag nagkakasakit ang chikiting. Di kasi natin alam ang pwedeng mangyari kaya napaparanoid tayo.

My LO of 8months poop very hard stool eveyday. She takes a lot of effort to force it out. The colour of the poop is very dark brown almost black. She is on solid and one intake of formula milk at night. She is still on breastmilk on the day. Please advise is this normal. Thanks

Hi my gal has the same problem but it only started after I switched her to stage 2 formula. She eats solids twice a day and still drinks 6x milk a day. I have tried to give her water and papaya but for the past three weeks her poo is very very hard. The color is not black though, is usually green or yellowish brown. My mil says it is normal to have such hard stools once they start eating more solids and t takes time for their digestive system to get used. I am also going my gal probiotics in the morn already but still like this. Am going to try yogurt tomorrow, hope that helps to soften the poo

Any parents freshly prepare purees for LO everyday? May I ask what do you do with the leftover fruits or veggies? Do you store the remaining half back into the refrigerator and use it again the next day? If so do you cling wrap it or store in containers?

My lo is having a bad cough suddenly, any quick remedies before to sooth her so that she can slp well before we bring her to the doc?

Just to add on to Yeng Lee regarding the milk. It would be better for you to give your lo diluted milk during this period of time. Milk causes phlegm as well, which will make them end up coughing and thus vomit.

Which playmat

Bumper playmat or bubble playmat? I'm intending to get a Parklon playmat for my 7 month old girl. Any advice on which to get? I'm confused between bumper and bubble playmat.

Bubble playmat is thicker compared to bumper playmat. I got the biggest size available and the thickness I got was 1.5cm (the thickest a few years ago). I would suggest you to go down and test out the softness for your comfort keeping in mind of the location you will be placing the mat (best to measure the area before going down) and would baby's fall be cushion if baby fall from potential climbing areas.

My edd is on the first week of Nov. I am just wondering how to bring a 2 months old out to relatives house for new year visiting? I mean like drinking milk, baby being cranky for being outdoor too long. Just so many questions on my head.

I delivered my boy exactly on 1st day of fasting month in 2014. A month later, come hari raya at 1 month old, he sleeps alot. Quite easy to take care of. Does not fuss when others hold him. But i do make it a must to be home before 6pm for visiting

My nanny will be on holiday for a month in December, i really have problems on who can look after my LO this dec. Any body has any suggestions? I have applied for infant care but still no call from them.

Hi how about getting a confinement lady to help for that one month instead. It may be easier to find a CL than to get into infant care. Any possibility for you to work from home in Dec? Hi, anybody heard of this millennium cactus juice? Read that can give to children to boost immune system. Dunno how true. Anyone has tried it and can give review? I do know it is v expensive.
