My Lo is 11 months old and down with flu n cough. His runny nose is getting better but his phlegm seems forever there. Doc gave cough syrup that is supposed to help with phlegm but doesn't seem to help. Any effective medication to help rid phlegm? fluimucil?

Yes i give flumicil too. Its so good and effective.. I Swear by it to Remove the phlegm

I mashed 1/4 of the whole banana to my LO and fed bit by bit. Fortunately she loves it.:)

Anyone here let your LO this diaper brand called "Goon"? How is it? Good and absorbent? Currently I'm using Merries and it is good. Just that sold out easily (I bought online). TIA:)

I don't like goon. Ok with Drypers, MamyPoko or Huggies. Generally go with whichever brand has a cute freebie on offer :)

Mummies who bring LO overseas. Do u bring any portable tub or pail for shower and wipe down purpose? Any advice on how to go about cleaning LO when overseas? Seems like there is a lot of things to bring.

I used the sink on a recent trip and gave LO a bubble bath!

What are the good vegetables to introduce for first puree? I want to introduce my baby with something not so sweet to begin with so that she experiments and tastes the other not-so-tasty-not-so-exciting veggies first.. 1) what leafy greens would u recommend and do we steam/puree them with breastmilk? 2) for avocado, just scoop it fresh n mash n add bm? do we need to steam it? TIA

Don't need to steam avacado. You can also do broccoli and avacado mash. I also gave by baby carrot, pumpkin, swede, sweat peas in her 6 months.

Hi is it ok to switch baby milk powder to another brand? I am overseas now and i think my milk powder is running out! What shd i do?

Is it alright to feed baby with 2 different brands of rice cereals concurrently? My baby's IFC will be feeding her cerelac whilst I intend to give her something else back at home. Is it okay for me to do that? What are the brands you would recommend for a 6mo, first solids? Thanks!

Should be fine. I give cerelac to mine and sometimes Hipp. Depends on which is cheaper at that time :-)

If LO eczema reoccurs 2 weeks after healing, do mummies reapply the steroid cream? I'm not keen to apply steroid cream whenever eczema reoccurs on LO face but there seems to be no other way out. Any advices pls?

Have you tried Jo Lauren's Miracle Balm? Food grade ingredients. Works wonders for my LO. Helps with eczema, heat rash, even those accidental self-inflicted scratches.

What are your view on using yaolan for day and night time sleeping? What are the pros and cons and are you for it?

My son happen to dislike to sleep yao lan at times ~ he will only sleep in the afternoon in yao lan and at night he prefer to sleep on bed ~
