Hi there mummies, I'm currently feeding my 9.5mth baby 2 solid meals daily and she's still taking 120ml of formula milk every 2 hrs. May I know if this's normal? How much (portion in ml/grams) of solidfood in each meal is given to your lil'one? She's on homecooked porridge or organic food packs/jars each meal. Appreciate all sharing of advices. Cheers

When my little one went for check at poly clinic at ard 7.5 mth, the nurse said that at ard 8 mth bb should be taking 2 solids meal daily ( about half a bowl of porridge each ) n 750ml of milk

My LO is 2 weeks and 2 days old. At some time of the day he would be very hungry and drink more milk than he usually drink. And he may stop for like 5 to 10mins and then asking for milk again. I have not enough breastmilk so I let him drink formula milk to ease his hunger and after all the milk he drink, he vomitted.

That's normal. Many moms experience this and start worry and and up giving formula to supplement. But it's really normal for baby to bepractically latched on nearly the entire day.

We are driving a new Mazda 3. What car seats would you recommend for a 19 months old toddler? We are currently using Inglesina Marco Polo. However, it is in a reclining position and we are unable to adjust it upright. This makes it uncomfortable for her. Any good recommendation?

I am using Maxi Cosi. It can be recline and be also placed up right.

My 4 month old was diagnosed with hfmd after fever with rashes appearing on foot hands buttock etc.what are the medications usually prescribed other than fever medicine and perhaps cream for the rashes? Was given a medication called methisoprinol. Anyone whose child was prescribed this when down with hfmd?

Hi, so sorry to hear that. My boy was also down with HFMD at 4 months and had ulcers in the mouth so we had to be warded as he was unable to drink at all - had to tube feed. He was only given fewer medicine and teething gel to use for the ulcers in his mouth. Didn't even have cream for the rashes but he wasn't itchy either. Just need to wait it out. Be careful to always wash hands and wash everything actually - it has a 10 days period of infectiousness. Get well soon baby

When my wife came down with hfmd, the doctor had prescribed methosoprinol to her. He said it's ok for nursing mums. A class c drug

My son just crossed 2 months , he doesn't sleep at night almost he wakes up at midnight 12 and sleeps at six in the morning. I have tried making the room dim, trying to differentiate morning and night but didn't work, he plays, shouts, cries, has his milk in that time and it is becoming tough as I have no sleep in night

hey your baby is too young at 2 months! please understand that it will be at least 5 to 7 months before your baby falls into a proper sleep pattern

Drooling is very common in babies..All babies drool occasionally, particularly when they are teething or when they have a cold. Most of the time, drooling is nothing to worry about..
