Does your kid refuses to listen to your instructions e.g don't touch the stuff until you raise up your voice? I don't like to do so but what else i can do to make my 5 years old kid listen to me?

To spank or not to spank? My husband and I are very split on this topic. I grew up in a household where spanking was a regular occurrence, whereas my husband's family didn't do this at all. It's causing a lot of strain between us and I'm not sure what to do. On the one hand, I don't want to go against my husband's wishes. On the other hand, I am the main disciplinarian in the house, and I do feel that in the some cases, spankings help to teach children wrong from right. Does anyone else have any experience with this?

It is a HUGE struggle getting my 3 year old son to brush his teeth in the morning and at night. He would cry, refuse to let us carry him, and just simply refuse to brush his teeth. I have tried scare tactics, scolding him and even bribing but it's all not working. HELP!

My 3yr old son has recently developed this liking to guns and shooting games. We don't have toy guns at home but he will pretend with his hand and pretend to shoot people. Is it okay?
