Is there any danger of taking too much soy product while breastfeeding? Recently I've been drinking a lot of soy milk and soy products from Mr Bean.

I think it's fine to consume soy products. but u have to take note and see if your baby has any reactions after consuming the bm.

Has anyone experience leakage with Avent milk bag? I had to throw away my thawed milk. =(

Did u drop the fbm on floor or knock it anywhere ? Mine doesn't leak. Leakage only happens after I knock it somewhere or drops to the floor

Hi mummies, can you please share how you organise your milk stash to maximise storage in your freezer? Will appreciate if you can snap a photo. Thank you :)

I saw this on Pintrest and I thought it was very organized, very neat and the labels indicating the dates the milk was expressed makes milk storage very convenient and efficient.

Mummies, do you all encounter milk splattering to the sides of the bottle when you pump? Wondering if something is wrong with my pump. I'm using spectra s1 with maymom's valve. Thanks in advance!

My friend lend me Spectra S1 without any manual. May I know how to assemble the parts? Do I need to buy new parts or just sterilize them will be sufficient?

Hi, I hope this video will help you. It shows how to assembly the parts. With regards whether to buy new parts or just sterilizing it, the good thing about Spectra breast pump is it has a pair of back flow protectors, making it a closed system pump. That means milk will never be in contact with the pump motor. This fact makes it more hygienic, more durable pump motor, and suitable for multiple user sharing. I have bm stored in normal chilled fridge & I would like to try freezing them. Can I confirm if the milk is less than 3 days I can freeze them? And my fridge is those with bottom freezer, does the 3 month rule still applies? It is advised to put at the "back of the freezer" does it mean I just put the milk bags further in?

Does any mummy here know if using Mirena as birth control will affect bm supply? any mummy with experience can share?

I Inserted Mirena two months postpartum. Oversupply mum since day one, no change at all. Still having oversupply 12 months post partum

my medela freestyle pump is showing the error message "BATT" while charging. I've already removed the battery and re started the charging process but the error message is still showing. any tips how to reset this?

Do charge it for a few hours to check if the battery is live. If the problem persists, you might need a new battery. You can send the pump for servicing if your warranty is still valid at the service centre. Try not to use it while it is still charging. It could also be due to a faulty adaptor which produces this error message too. You can borrow a Medela adaptor from a friend to test this out too.

Anyone tried pur storage bottles? I hear it's really good for breastfeeding mums

I purchased these bottles. There are reviews from moms who say that the milk smells and tastes fresher because you need to use it together with the vacuum pump. It's just another method of storing the milk. The freshest is still direct latching. I don't use these frequently, because I store mine in Evenflo glass bottles. I'm trying to cut down on using disposable milk bags because I find it extremely environmentally unfriendly as these can only been used once.
