It's been almost 3 weeks since my daughter started her nursing strike. Does anyone have any solution for this?

How old is your child? Is she taking formula as well?

My 1 month old baby still has jaundice. He suckles very weak n always doze off. How to strengthen his suckle?

Thanks for the reply jinhui. I'm also not sure..is like nibbling on my nipple and not much sucking feeling and he fall asleep. At times when he's really hungry he will suck..

My 1yo baby has been rejecting ebm when I m at work. He would only take say 200ml fr bottle. :( ok to just feed him breastmilk at night on weekday and weekends? or does he still need formula milk supplement during the day?

At 1 yo, I would think it's fine not to supplement with formula milk in the day if he's eating solid well and has no issue with weight gain. Also, sometimes, its not an issue with the ebm but the bottle, at 1 yo, you can try changing to drink from sippy cup or straw cup.

How do you wash your milk bottles outside if you're going to be out from morning to night?

Lol, im a very rugged mom, i feed baby, and immediately rinse them to minimized the residue sticking in the bottle. I realize if its not wased immediately it will be harder to wash. Otherwise i normally go to starbucks or mac whatever i can find, ask for hot water, shake and rinse. Thats just me.

if I have some packs of frozen milk in 180-190ml denominations, and baby currently drinks about 150ml. how should I defrost without wastage?

I take from freezer to the fridge to defroze. Then use it up within 24hr after it is defroze. i just pour the amt i want to feed baby

I just pumped my left breast as baby only latched right side jus now before he slept. I yield almost nothing. Is my supply gone so soon? I didn't even latch at all for the past 4 to 5 hrs and only pumped out 20ml and my breast really felt empty when I touched. Meaning baby didn't drink much whenever he latches there? This is so depressing. Baby is only 2 weeks old. ????

2 weeks is still early. Milk supply will fluctuate in the beginning. Just keep on latching and don't stress!

I have unbalance boobs size due to breastfeeding. 2 cups difference. When one side engorged can be 3 cups difference. It is very obvious while I wearing fitted shirt. Any mummy facing this problem before? Will it become normal balanced boobs after I stop breastfeeding. TIA.

me too! I don't know why though. my right side is bigger then my left. but I know that whether we breast feed or not, our breast are lopsided. isn't it?

I am going to labour in the early November, should I buy one tin of FM just in case I have not enough BM? What if I am having fever during BFing, can I BF my LO?

Yes I would advise you to get a small tin to standby in case not enough breastmilk. But do note that some babies are allergic to cow's milk. Mine was and he had super watery poop... Until I switched to soy fm. Advised by pd was bm is the best option

Hello Mummies I have a question how do we store out Breastmilk in two door fridge freezer. 1) Do we usually fill up the storage bag till full with milk then take out from the fridge thaw within 24hr to consume(afraid that the balance milk will go wasted cause is not the exact amout bby drinking) OR We filled up all e bag eg to 80ml easier for me as baby drink that amount just thaw and ready to drink no need keep pouring to make right amount but problem is as weeks go by baby intake will increase and all the frozen will be at 80ml 2)i read up that chilled milk that kept (3-8days) is better than those frozen milk that we stored Could mummies advice me the best way to store the milk Thank You!

Cimilre S3 v/s Spectra S1

Hi, any mummies tried both Spectra S1 and Cimilre S3? Any reviews on these 2 pumps? Previously tried only 9+. It was great. But thought of getting a hospital grade pump to be used at home.

Spectra s1 is of hospital grade and will have stronger suction
