Does Singapore allowed public nursing? I am bringing out my 4 month old baby 1st time out this weekend to shopping area. I prefer to latch him on the spot rather of searching for nursing room. Please advise.

I'm a low supply mum, my LO is 1 month old.. I got donated fbm from a kind hearted lady but her daughter is around 2 years plus.. Will the bm provides the same nutrient that's ok for my 1 month old LO?

Drink lots of water, eat lots of fish (though there's another school if thought that says don't eat too much fish due to mercury) and keep pumping. Pump every 2-3 hrs, and try power pumping. Pump 20mins rest 10mins pump 10min rest 10min. Power pumping has helped me a lot in establishing my supply in the early days. Just perservere and keep pumping. :)

Hello mummies! This will be my first time bringing my little one out for a dinner event. She is mainly DL and she is only able to nurse in my own room and on my bed, can't nurse in peace elsewhere even within my bedroom on a chair. I've never tried nursing in public or using the nursing rooms before (don't think there's any nursing room near my dinner venue as well). So I intend to express bm in advance and feed her via bottle later. If I were to pump in the afternoon and store the bm in the fridge till evening, how long can I keep the bm outdoors without any cooler bag, i.e. Just store the ebm in a thermal bag and feed when required? If the milk is still cold, do I need to warm it first or can I feed it cold? Alternatively, if I were to pump just before I leave home, how long can I keep the bm outdoors? Thanks.

I use the fridge to go bag when plan to pump outside. Don’t need ice pack.

Is onsen safe for breastfeeding mums?

I came across this post where the father blogged that: "The warm, therapeutic waters of an onsen (温泉、hot springs) , and even your own bath at home to be honest, are known to stimulate milk production. My wife claims that her best milk producing days ever (in terms of quantity) were in the few days we stayed at Beppu Onsen (別府温泉) six weeks after our son was born. My pump seems to have not good suction, should I buy new pump ? Or change the parts? Using spectra 9+

Usually suction is due to the duckbill valves. They need frequent replacement from 2-4 months depending on your usage. https://shopee.sg/product/242594539/7732031072?smtt=0.0.9

Just to share: I had a slice of Pandan cheese cake (from bangawan solo) for breakfast yesterday and today, and i noticed a higher yield. Mummies looking for booster can give it a try :)

haha.. that's one of my favourite from Bangawan Solo. Love this combi. Gonna introduce to all my mummy friends as a potential milk booster! Thanks for sharing!

hi mummies, is the product 'crystal tomato' safe for breastfeeding?

According to the product's FAQ, it says: "Crystal Tomato® being a Natural Food is suitable and safe for all – with the exception of people who are allergic to tomatoes or have been advised by their physicians not to take tomatoes for any reason." Need some advice on this. I am a FTWM and I usually express bm in the comfort of my office. However, I will be attending a full day seminar at MBS convention centre this week and not sure if there is any nursing room with electrical points nearby. Mommies out there pls help me. What will you do and what will you bring along? I won't have access to any fridge... and I can't sterilise my pump after each use (will need to pump a times in that one day!) Help!! I assume I will be there fr 8am til 6pm or so. Thanks!

Thank you so much! Apparently MBS replied to my email...the list provided is as per what is stated on the link that Jacq has provided above. So I guess I might have to make quick dashes in between. Hopefully I will be able to meet someone who can redirect me to some nearby room. Thanks again for the suggestion..I will do that.
