Best bottle to supplement breastfeeding for newborn

I am trying to breastfeed but my supply is very low. My son (1 week old) was losing a lot of weight so we needed to supplement with formula. His suckle is also very weak so doesn't stimulate the nipple much. I want to know which bottle/nipple is best for dual bottle+breast. I heard there are some nipple that only release small milk when baby sucks so it is similar to breast (instead of constant flow even if not sucking). I am using mostly Philips Avent bottles and equipment. Thanks for the advice!

My son has weak latch and always falling asleep/getting bored

My son is one week old and he always have a very weak latch on my breast. Anyone else have this problem? It is very hard to properly stimulate the milk production. I have consulted with lactation consultant and latch seems ok, I keep waking him up if he falls asleep etc. The only way I can give him breast milk is to pump and bottle feed it, but I really want to directly breastfeed if I can

It is common for newborns fall sleep during feeding, not to worry too much Meantime pump every 2hrs to stimulate and build breast milk When he get older he will sleep lesser

I have been trying so hard to increase my milk supply but it seemed hard. From taking supplements (Legendairy) to drinking oats and eating lactation cookies, nothing seemed to work. Im doing pumping as my LO is unable to latch. Any advise?

Hello mummies. Currently 39+1 weeks, I only have Haakaa pump because I will not be working for at least 2 years. Will it be enough for my baby if I intend to direct latch till she’s at least 2 years old? Or do I need to get a breast pump?

if u will be beside ur baby 24h, then latching would be enough..

How you all cope?

Breastfeeding baby. Sometimes baby poops immediately after feed and again she will ask for milk. I feel that milk isn't enough as she just fed. How do you all deal with it?

I rely on mixed feeding. Formula can keep baby full for a longer time especially during night feeds.
