Haakaa pump

Hello mummies. Currently 39+1 weeks, I only have Haakaa pump because I will not be working for at least 2 years. Will it be enough for my baby if I intend to direct latch till she’s at least 2 years old? Or do I need to get a breast pump?

It is good to still have a single electric pump. It is more for you to express when baby is not latching. You can store it for when you will be going out and someone looks after your LO. Pumping in between latching also helps to sustain, if not increase BM supply.

If you are not intending to build up a freezer stash and direct latch bubs all the time i reckon a Haakaa is sufficient. I've tried single electric pump on one side and Haakaa the other side, works for me.

Haakaa pump is good when you're latching and the other breast is leaking. It will help you collect the milk. Get a breast pump will make life easier if someone is there to help.

Having a electric pump gives you flexibility and massage function. Although u don’t plan to work, but are you sure you can DL all the time I.e. always with baby?

Is convenient to shop online with next day delivery. Don't buy 1st, shop when u really need it
