Delay pumping interval for better yields?

Hi mommies, am wondering if i should delay my pumping intervals for better overall yield. Understand that usually people will advise to keep regular pumping schedule (3hourly) to maintain supply but from what i see from my pumping logbook: For eg, 4 pumps ~ 760ml (more than 5-6 hours kind of interval) VS 5-7 pumps ~ 760ml or less (normal 3 ish hours interval + pumping out extra after DL). LO is one month & im pumping enough + a little bit extra each time and i find myself chasing the clock to make sure she gets her bm. The better yield when my breasts are very engorged gives me much motivation but im not sure if this is harmful to my supply or will cause mastitis in the long run?

Dragging pumping interval will risk decreasing supply in the long run. Have you tried using haakaa to collect milk on the other side when LO latch?

Decreasing breast milk supply

Hi mummies, I'm exclusively pumping for my newborn and I noticed that lately the supply ha been decreasing. I used to have 90ml from both sides (in my third week post natal now), and now sometimes I only get 60ml from both sides. I drink at least 2L of water and longan red date tea a day and I sleep at least 6 hours. Not sure why my milk is decreasing? There are no clogged ducts also. I have been drinking green papaya soup, eating fish, lactation cookies etc but still the same 60ml yield. :( anyone with the same problem? How to increase the supply again? For personal reasons, I'm not able to latch the baby directly.

I am a EP mom. Recently my boots is getting softer and softer before i pump. Does that means that my BF journey is coming to an end? But at the end of the day, i still can managed to pump the amount that everyday u can yield.

If u are still able to yield the same amount and pumping as per normal then i dont think so. Perhaps ur body has regulated itself.

My 3 week old daughter is cluster feeing to build up supply. That is normal. But how long does it usually take? I pity my wife because sometimes it takes like 2-3 hrs. Is that normal?

3 weeks old seems too fast to cluster feed. You can try reading up on mental leaps.

How do some mothers breastfeed exclusively? I mixed feed my baby and sometimes it just makes me feel so guilty and like a bad mother. Breastfeeding is also mentally and physically exhausting. And when people ask me why i don't breastfeed my baby exclusively it feels so daunting. Any mothers feel the same way as me?

Hi mummies using Spectra S1 May I ask which cycle and vacumn setting has worked best for you in maximum milk yield? Thanks from FTM

Personal preference. I tried several combos but now I’m using : 70 - L3 for 3 min 54 - L6 for 7 min 70 - L4 for 2 min 54 - L7 for 3 mins

Breastmilk in a storage bag

Hello mummies, my daughter is 3 weeks old now. I’m doing direct latching and pumping when she’s sleeping. May I know how many ml of breastmilk do you mummies suggest me to put in a bag of storage bag for easy thawing? 150ml/200ml?

The lesser the better. About 80ml? More like prevent wastage. See normally how much she drink
