Pumping Questions

Do you all massage prior? How long do we pump, is 15 minutes enough since after 10 I barely have any drops ? Also, what do you use to wipe boobs prior or after?

I don't massage. I just pump for 15m and I use a tissue to wipe.

Clenched fist 1 month + baby

Hello mummies, Just wondering, why does my baby clenched her fist all the time? Even after I feed her and she fall asleep while nursing her. Does that mean that she’s not full enough? Thanks in advance mummies.

Hi mummies do share how to side feed comfortably. Baby is getting heavier to cradle in arm she has outgrown the nursing pillow too. Nursing at night is tricky hence I tried side feeding she's comfortable and will adjust her head but I'm not. I realised I would end up with hip joint aches the next day. Or neck ache (from propping my head with my hands) hope you guys can assist and give tips!!

I gave birth last Sat & have been breastfeeding my baby. However, I notice that my milk has been leaking since yesterday but when I tried to pump for the first time, milk end up coming out so little. why is this so?

Engorment? Mummy you need to massage they might be stuck. Usually milk kick in 1 week after birth. But not alot too. Only after 2nd week you can see quite a bit

For the first 2 weeks, I have been bf my baby and he has been latching well. 3rd week into my confinement we offer mixed feeding (bottle and bf). Last week of confinement till now about 2 weeks I have been exclusively pumping as trying to clear baby jaundice by feeding fm. Now baby jaudice is much better and I tried reintroducing bf however my baby cry when I get him to latch. I cry at the sight that he forget how I bf him. How do I make him latch again?

More skin to skin. And perhaps try giving him half feed using bottle and finish off by latching? So baby remembers, and when he latches well you can do away with the bottles
