Need more breastmilk

I'm 1 month postpartum today. I haven't been latching baby exclusively. I only rest for two weeks and I Resume my classes in diploma as I'm a sponsored student from a local hospital..I mixed feed my LO. After 1 mth if I dun really latch my LO can I produce more bf by pumping only? I have tried so many supplements but the milk production is not much..how frequent should I pump? A little upset and stress..even though I've already went back to school I still want to give my LO breastmilk..😓#advicepls #pleasehelp

For 2nd time moms - successful breastfeeding 2nd time round

Hi all! Im pregnant with my 2nd one now and really look forward to breastfeeding the LO for more than 1 month. My milk never fully came in the first time round :( For those in my situation, what did you do differently for your 2nd or subsequently pregnancy or post-pregnancy? How can I better prepare my body for breastfeeding? #advicepls

Same for me. I was more prepared 2nd time round. I drank more water 2l of water everyday. I made sure i pumped often, and ate more fibre. Most importantly i drank more water lah. I managed a good 6mths!

Low milk supply

I am 24 days postpartum and my supply has been low - 20ml for both side so far. I have been supplementing with formula or sometimes just exclusively formula as I do not produce enough. Today when pumping, I have totally zero output for both sides. How can I increase my milk supply?

I have breast lumps near my left nipple that are painless. They are not clogged ducts and have not gone away for more than 2 weeks. Anyone knows what these lumps could possibly be? :(

Breastfeeding After Covid Vaccination

Hi mommies! Did you continue to breastfeed after getting your covid-19 vaccination/ booster jab? #1stimemom

I think it may depend on whether I have any major side effects and sufficient breast milk frozen. I intend to breastfeed after my booster shot if I can, so that the antibodies will be passed to the baby. If I have horrible fever or heart palpitations I will prob stop breastfeeding for a few days until my body stops reacting so violently. Haven't seen any articles on serious side effects on infants so far, if new info comes out this decision may change.

How much milk do you leave with your babies' caretaker while working a normal 8 hours job? I have an almost 8 months baby and my husband's auntie takes care of my baby and she always conplains that my milk is not enough but refuses to try to give formula since my baby refuses to drink it after a few attempts months ago

I’d say start pumping more and building a stash to store in the freezer. So that if there isn’t enough milk, she can always defrost

Need advice how should I increase my breastmilk again.. Last time pump 120ml now become 20-40ml.. I only pump 1 or 2 a day as work related that I can't pump every 2 hrs even my breast feel pain I tahan not to pump thats why milk getting lesser.. Now I no work back to pump milk but to muly dismay not much milk.. Or breast stop producing

I think the only way to increase supply is to direct latch and pump regularly.. it’s tough.. also try eating more food that will help boost milk supply!

Pregnancy and period after c sect

How soon later did your period return if still breastfeed or pump and feed? If pregnant less than 6 months after c sect, considered as high risk pregnancy?#pleasehelp #1stimemom #advicepls

1st pregnancy around 6 months do check with your gynae before preparing for your 2nd pregnancy, they will advise accordingly
