i have inverted nipples too and i use a nipple aspirator puller to pull it out and bf baby..

Breastfeed/Formula(3 week Newborn)

Hi, do any mommies doing breastfeed & formula when baby is not yet 1 month old? I feel useless as I can't produce much milk & felt like i depend on formula more. Furthermore, not sure when is baby done with breastfeeding...

Is it normal for your breasts (not nipples area) to be itchy when you're pumping exclusively? Is this because the breast is growing and just needs to be moisturised?

Hey mama, I experienced this too while breastfeeding and found that moisturising did wonders! I also aired the breasts as often as I could - in this humid weather a lot of moisture gets trapped which contributed to the itch I was having. Wearing a loose fitting bra helped me too :)

I suspect that I have mastitis. My gynae’s clinic is closed tomorrow. Will a GP be able to diagnose and treat Mastitis?

I dun tink a gynae treats mastitis thou. I went to a gp tat i always go tovusually and he seems to know thou.

Advice needed for BF

Having a hard time getting my newborn to latch on for BF. My nipples are sore, cracked, bleeding and i feel milk coming in. Anyone knows if there is any free lactation consultation or community groups to help/advice so I can BF my newborn? #pleasehelp #1stimemom #advicepls #breastengorgement #breastfeeding

You can join breastfeeding mother support group on fb n c if u can get advice there. I only know of LC that has to pay..

Unable to latch

Hiii all, FTM here with 3 weeks old baby. Feeling sad and depressed that I'm unable to latch my little one. Had consulted a LC but its still the same. LO is fussy and hard to latch for me with flat nip. Anyone feeling the same ...

Can try using a nipple puller. Don't lose hope!

Hi mummies. Anyone of u can recommend any portable breast pump. I wonder how u guys pump every 2 to 3 hrs to pump and how do u guys clean it. Most of the time i didnt manage to pump and my milk supply is low and my l.o currently on formula eversince she was warded due to dehydration. sigh. I want to fully breastfeed my baby but idk how to stop her formula and if i do im worried due to my low milk supply she will be dehydration again. . Sigh #advicepls #firstbaby #1stimemom #pleasehelp

My breast masseur recommends Spectra S1. I’m using BabyExpress be mine. My baby is 6 days old and my supply is low as well. I need to pump twice before I can meet her demand. Currently she’s on fm & bm (if I’m managed to pump what she needs). As much as I want to latch her, she’s too strong with her bite and my nipples couldn’t take it. 😞
