Hi mummies, how often do you change your breast pads? I usually wear mine the entire day, not sure if it’s hygienic? I have friends that change out once every 2 days too.

Breast masseur for engorged and blocked ducts.

Hi ladies, I just gave birth 4 days ago and had very bad blocked ducts ): found a contact for breast masseur from a WhatsApp group chat and omg she’s GOOD. Her breast massage is PAINLESS and she gave good advice on how to use the breast pump. I could pump with my breast pump and collected a good yield of colostrum after my massage session with her today. If not I would normally need to hand express and pump and still feel the blocked ducts. Do feel free to contact her. She’s Mdm Ida, 9424 9829. Hope this help people suffering from breastfeeding woes!

Is power pumping effective for everyone to increase milk supply? How long after starting did you see an increase? Been power pumping for more than a week but doesn’t seem to see an effect. Thanks!

It works almost immediately. You may not see a lot of supply in that session, but if you add it up, the total volume per day actually increases. and gets more each day.

Hi! Anyone has any success stories at increasing milk supply at 1 or 2 months post partum? My supply has been low since baby born and has been doing different methods but doesn’t seem to work :(

How many days after delivery does your breast milk kicks in ? During this period, baby feed FM first ? I'm in the hospital now on my 3rd day, I don't see any milk coming out and the lactation nurse really squeeze the nipples for the massage before latching. She asked me to squeeze real hard to stimulate, I didn't know about this and it seems too late... feeling so sad n lost....

Bringing breastpump to hospital

FTM here delivering at TMC next month. Is it better to bring a hospital grade electric breast pump or manual breast pump to the hospital? And how to sterilise pump parts after use at TMC? Thank you. #firsttimemom #firstbaby #advicepls

Hi mummy! For my experience at TMC and as FTM, the lactation lady will asked if i did bring my breast pump but i didnt. So need to ask husband to bring it down and they will explained to you the usage of it and on how to latch and breast pump ur milk. Didnt use it at the hospital but did learn how to direct feeding instead.🙂🙂
