Best breastfeeding pump?

Hello mummies! Share with me your favourite breastfeeding pump? For my firstborn I’ve used spectra 9+ but just wondering if there is any good ones out there that is more on-the-go/hands-free pump before i invest into one.

Has anyone tried lactation products from “2nutguys” before?

Their lactation nut butter looks delicious. Has anyone tried before? Is it effective for the price paid?

I'm on week 30 of my pregnancy as ftm. My boobs didnt grow bigger and they are not sore yet. Unlike my first pregnancy which resulted in a miscarriage, I had v sore boobs and they grew quite a lot within the first 10 weeks. I'm worried that I may not have breast milk. Do other mummy's have similar experiences?

Less suction with Pigeon gomini pump

Hi Mummies, I am experiencing issues with Pigeon gomini digital pump. In every session, I can only pump maximum 70 ml. After this when I hand express, I can easily get 50 ml more. But hand express is so tedious every time ? Can I check if so change pump to some other brand, I can get more milk out ? Any other mummies faced this ? #pleasehelp #firsttimemum

seems like this pump not suitable for you, best to try another.

How to increase or prepare for breastfeeding?

Currently in my 24weeks, would like to know how can we prepare in advanced to ensure we have enough breastmilk after delivery? Is it too late to start taking any food or supplements to help stimulate milk supply??

Too much fish (mercury) intake during confinement

I just started my confinement and have been taken 2 servings of low mercury fish (cod & threadfin) daily for a week - total 14 servings in 1 week. However just realised that recommended serving for breastfeeding mom is 2-3 servings per week. Should I worried if it will affect my baby since I'm breastfeeding? I'm concerned if any mercury build up will affect my child.

Just check which codfish you’re having, some are Chilean seabass sold as codfish and those have high mercury and should be taken 1x a week:) there was an mothership article a while back on that

Impact of Breastmilk

Hi all mummies, Just wondering if you breastfeeding your baby for so long. Is it true your baby never get sick? Personally I have stopped BF at 2 months plus. for my mental health. However, quite fed up when ppl keep telling u. U need to BF at least 1 year. Everyone has different case. Why need to force all woman to BF 6 to 1 year? So is it true baby will not get sick and nver go see PD since. BM will help your baby immunity? #BreastfebBabies #immunity #firsttiimemom #firstbaby

How to get rid of white bleb/blister on nipple ?

Hi Mummies, I am breastfeeding my 27 days old baby and today I noticed that there is a white bleb/blister on my nipple. I read about it and it mentions that this can happen due to a blocked milk duct. It is a little bit painful when the baby latches but not very painful. Attaching the photo Any mum who experienced this? Can please share how to get rid of this ? Thanks in advance 🙏 #firsttimemom

How to get rid of white bleb/blister on nipple ?

This is common! Just leave it alone. It will heal on its own after a few days :) this usually happens when the latch is not good. Don’t try to burst it else it might be prone to infection.
