Milk Supply
Hi mummies any tips on how to increase milk supply? I have been exclusively pumping for about 2 months now but I only have very little each time I pump. Does lactation cookies/tea works?
Extremely Low Milk Supply
I’m already day 6 postpartum and have been regularly pumping. However, each pumping session yields only a few ml of milk :’( Have tried lactation cookies, fenugreek, oats, and herbs but with minimal results. What’s wrong &how can I increase my supply?
What is the pumped milk volume that is good to stop pumping?
I am in the midst of stopping breastfeeding so want to know when can I stop pumping totally since I heard that there will still be milk no matter what.
reduce pumps
I'm going back to work soon and unfortunately my job does not allow me to pump so frequently and on time. I used to pump 2 hourly and has gradually pulled the duration longer. now pumping 4 hourly yielding about 1.1L in total/day. I can't seem to find answers on google so I'm asking for help here. anybody with similar situation? I plan to drag out to pump 6 hourly instead but wish to keep supply at least 1L/day. how do I adjust? increase duration from 4 to 5 hourly then 6 hourly gradually? I'm worried supply will drop as my body thought I don't need so much milk. TIA.
Oxo Tot Silicone Self-Feeder
A pacifier for infant can fulfill the ‘suck reflex’ that may linger on after breastfeeding or bottle feeding. https://shope.ee/8zeXTmXLwI
Low breastmilk supply
I am 22 days postpartum and am struggling with low supply. I pump around 30 ml a pump and do it every 2/3 hours. Daily, I yield slightly more than 300ml. I even invited a lactation consultant over, who taught me pumping techniques to increase milk supply….i also tried lactation cookies, green papaya fish soup, and am currently taking fenugreek and domperidone. Do you know if milk supply is expected to increase after 1 month? My last resort is to try the almond milk from 2nutguys
Nipple bleed after pumping
Hello, new mum here. I was pumping milk on my breasts. 15 min on each side for 2 rounds. On my last round, the last nipple suddenly bleeds after I was done. Wanted to know if this is normal? Anyone have experienced this before? Is it because the pumping is a little strong or is there something I should be worried about? Need some advice pls.
Sudden drop in supply
Feeling so defeated by my breastfeeding journey I have a low supply and have been trying many ways to build up my supply as I have always dream of bf my baby till 1yo. Baby unfortunately does not latch at all. I powerpump twice a day almost every day, and pumping 8 to 9 times a day. However when my husband went back to work, I could only pump 6 to 7 times. I have also been ordering meals that supposedly boost lactation, spamming water, taking lecithin, munching on lactation cookies etc. My flange size has also been measured by an LC, and I'm using a hospital grade pump. The only thing is there's a 5hr gap between my pump sessions in motn for me to rest. With all these, I still yield about 50ml on average. Recently my supply seems to be decreasing despite having no change in routines. Should I be giving up 😔
BM one day yield
just curious, what's a day's total yield for mummies? and for those that started working, was the a drop in yield and how much? 1 more month before starting work, prepping mentally.
How much breastmilk to store per bag for freezer stash?
Hi mummies, my LO is currently 2 months old and is fully breastfed. I have oversupply and have so far been storing around 140ml per bag for use. Any mummies can share their experience with how much recommended for storage per bag? What happens when you only need portion of it when u need to use, do you thaw in fridge and use within a day?
