- Warm compress - Massage (I engaged Mdm Ida for 1 session, subsequent sessions by my postnatal massage lady) - Take sunflower lecithin - Clear your breast well - Go easy on your diet (don’t take too much salty/oily/spicy food)

Underweight baby

Hi I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant and my baby underweight the last time we check she was 1KG is there any harm to a underweight baby? Or anything? I’m rlly worried #firsttimemom #worried #UnderweightBaby

Hi! I struggled with latching so I did exclusive pumping instead. Initial bf stage (especially if you’re not blessed with good supply) will be hard. I had blocked ducts, sore boobs, sometimes even mastitis if I didn’t control my diet/cleared my boobs well. I took one breast massage session (engaged Mdm Ida) to clear the first blockage and then took sunflower lecithin daily. Switched to handsfree pumps, drink a lot of water and eventually managed to go from undersupply to having my own milk stash! In the meantime, I mix feed. Apply nipple cream after pumping/latching. I use baby consumable coconut oil to apply on my flange during pumping to reduce friction too. If you intend to bottle feed, what i did was to pump with into her milk bottles, put in fridge. End of the day, I combine all my milk and if I have extras, I freeze them. To thaw the next day, you can just bring down from freezer the night before then let it thaw, transfer to bottle then heat up with your bottle warmer. Alternatively, if you’re okay with giving cold milk (I did when she’s around 2M and she’s fine with it, currently 28m no issues), you can just pump and pour whatever she needs, excess put in another bottle then top up with next pump, put in the fridge then feed directly. Above is for just nice supply, if you’re oversupply, store the excess in milk storage bags then freeze them.

Fear breastfeeding

I’m so afraid tat I won’t be able to breastfeed my baby but I know I keep telling myself I can do it cause im currently leaking colostrum and pregnant.I’m so afraid I can’t provide breast milk fr my Bby #firsttime_mommy #fear

After bb is out, drink more water and latch/pump regularly. Eat well, rest well and give whatever you have, don’t stress yourself because stress = affect supply. I took 1m to only be able to provide baby just enough for each feed then slowly build up from there. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy! 😊

Low blood count

Anyone can advice on how to improve my iron levels I have alr taken my blood transfusion few months back but it drop again my face looks super pale and I felt dizzy and breathless again #lowblood #firstmom #ANEMIA #lowbloodpressure

Are you taking folic acid supplements or eating foods rich in it? If not, I suggest you do so~ You may also take Iron Supplements as well.

Hsllo, I have really sleep insomnia everyday I sleep at 6.30am wake up ard 2-4pm anyone can give advice how to help with it I’m currently pregnant also I really cannot sleep middle of the night pls give advice how to I can sleep early! 😭 #advice #firstmom #pregnant30Week #pregnant

I slept around 5am for the first time (usually slept around 2-3am) since I got addicted to this game hahaha. Do you use your phone til late? I recommend not to and just do light exercises before going to bed. And is your LO so active at night? Mine too, I usually just stroke my belly and do the "Sssshhhh" then telling my baby that we need to sleep.

Can I use my husband’s Medisave for prenatal and delivery expenses?

Hi, understand we can use our own (ie mother’s) medisave to claim some of our prenatal and delivery expenses. Are we able to tap into our husband’s medisave to further reduce the expenses too? I will be delivering at TMC :) thanks

Yes, but can only choose one account to deduct from. My husband used his, also delivered in TMC~

It’s because milk are filling and stretching your boobs. (idk the actual term but yeah it’s milk)

ART tested positive. Should I see a GP or go hospital? I am in week 27

I am having flu and cough and tested ART and it turn out to be positive. I am not sure what to do. See GP or go hospital at this late hour. I am worried for my baby.

OK don't worry. My friend had covid at last trimester too. And no harm to baby. Rest more
