Brown discharge with mild backache - 27 weeks 3 days

Hi I’ve spotting at 20 weeks and 24 weeks. It was light pink /red. Went to AnE but they said it’s not from the placenta and baby doing fine so far. Now I’m 27 weeks 3 days and I’ve had 2 episodes of brown discharge. Today and also 2 days ago, this time with mild backache. Anyone experience same thing before ?

C sec or ECV treatment if baby still in breech position during labour?

Hi mummies, doctor told me if baby still remain at breech position at week 35 , results are might need to consider C section birth or even ECV treatment. Any mummies went through ECV ? It seems painful 😥. I hope my baby’s head will turn down from week 32. I am currently at week 28 going into week 29.

Freelance nanny

Hi mummies. For those who have engaged freelance nanny before, besides applying for the work permit on mom website, are there other things we need to do? Eg, is it required to get medical insurance for nanny? 😅

From what I know, the work permit application on MOM is the main official step, but there are a few other things worth checking on, like whether your nanny needs a settling-in programme or a medical exam depending on her source country. Medical insurance is actually required by MOM for work permit holders, so that is not optional lah. I would recommend going through the MOM website carefully under the foreign domestic worker section, as the checklist there covers most of what you need. It is worth taking an hour to read through so you do not miss anything before she arrives.

What supplements are you on during pregnancy?

I am entering third trimester and I usually only eat Fish Oil and Multi Vitamins.. I wonder if there is any other that I supplements that I should take ? Because my friends in private hospital are taking more supplements, I wonder if government hospital doesn’t provide and I wonder if it suffice ?

My hospital is private too and i take multi vitamins + fish oil & calcium only!

Hi mummies, after glucose test, I found that I have low red blood cells. Any recommendations on what to eat or iron pills good for pregnancy?

I think for supplements you ask your gynae. Because iron supplements can cause constipation For food wise you can try eating spinach and beef

Hello! Don’t worry! The baby will be fine. Just take good care of yourself! Drink more water and rest more! Also, be sure to take pregnancy safe medicine only.
